totally hypothetical travel question

I'm in! Also, you're welcome to stay with us (but no pressure) if you want to go to Tahoe. We're about an hour from the lake and we're always happy to make recommendations or play tour guide.

And we're introverts too, so you would be welcome, but I'm sure we'd be awkward about it. Lol

Potentially dumb question here...the BF loves to fish. Is there fishing there?
He is NOT a touristy type, I am. Planning a vacation with him is tricky to balance our needs for fun.

Yep!  Tahoe has trout and salmon, and you can fly fish or hire a charter or just rent a kayak and fish the shallows.  There is also fishing in rivers and other lakes up there, as well.

You could also rent a boat and just spend the day sunning while he fishes.

The bay area has great fishing too, and he could do a deep water charter trip while we all wander about the various antique shops and salvage yards.

Thank you for including me, but it's kind of a long drive from Portland. I would love to drool over pictures if you hit a bunch of cool shops in San Francisco.
