Just jumping in to proclaim my love for YNAB. It has been a complete game changer for our finances.
I was using Mint before, but it was only helping me track what I already spent (or overspent...) and not be planful. With YNAB we only budget the amount of money we have right this moment and when it's gone, it's gone. We spend against the budget, not the bank balance.
I'm still in debt repayment mode, so we're not yet using all the rules (like save for a rainy day, live on last month's income), but as I said in the click poll post, we haven't acquired any additional debt since we started using it in September and have paid off more than 50% of what we had.

Thanks everyone for the comments. DH and I are having our mid-way state of our finances review this weekend, so I think I am going to suggest this trying YNAB. Thanks!
