Or direct me to the thread where everyone is posting because I don't see it.
But first help me: I used my Freestyle to pump in the car and got way more milk than I've been getting with the Symphony. Fluke or use the Freestyle again? I'm talking more than double. Only problem is I hate the suction!
I think I will use the Symphony for my next pump because my friend is here and it's quiet but I'm curious if this happened to anyone else. Back with Ben I would go back and forth between the two and didn't see a difference (until the Freestyle motor died anyway but I got a new one).

What's everyone else up to?
I would use the freestyle. It's not like he doesn't know you're pumping.
Today was not a great day. DD was a defiant asshole toddler for the majority of the time, especially when she deliberately kicked me hard in the abdomen (I'm 31 weeks pregnant). Also, I am solo parenting for the next two nights while DH plays in a softball tournament. Plus, the heartburn is out of control and my feet are starting to swell. So over it all.
Today sucked. We had to put my cat to sleep, and we just weren't ready for that...not that you ever can really be ready, but it was so sudden. We told DD that he died and that meant he wouldn't be here anymore, and she cried and said she wanted him here.
I need both kids to go to sleep for a little while so I can have my breakdown.
DD was a hellion today. Slapped at my arm twice, wailing for no reason, then she didn't nap. Thank God she went down for bed easily at 7pm. I needed a break.
X had his worst tantrum ever right in the middle of Target this morning. It continued into the parking lot where it took me 10 minutes to get him calm enough to strap him in his seat. He was going noodle limp every time I tried to get him out of the cart and yelling "go away" at me. People were staring. I stayed calm, but I had to sit in the van for a couple minutes to decompress before I could drive away. I got myself a giant Starbucks and then felt shitty due to the caffeine since I don't really drink it anymore.
What is it with the asshole toddlers?? DS was good at the pool but was an absolute little shit at home. I drank my wine a little faster than I probably should have, but damn.

My day has sucked. DS took a massive shit on the ride to daycare, arrive at daycare and notice he has no diapers (they forgot to write he was out on the daily sheet from yesterday). He has been wearing too small random "daycare extra" diapers all day. Then today at work my agency fired the supervisor of another program, and now i am saddled with their workload/ staff as well. I am so stressed out about the added work.

My mom, aunt and uncle left today. Cue massive meltdown from DS1. All day. Constant whining and meltdowns for no reason. Sigh.
We picked DH up at the train station, the one not near us and hit traffic. On the way back he just started thrashing and screaming due to exhaustion. I just lost it and yelled - cue a stunned DH and two boys upset.
We recovered and ended the day on a good note, but I swear, I need a break. I need alone time. We've had a lot of company, I think I just need a people break.

I came home to a livingroom full of houseflies. I almost gagged. There were probably 50 of them flying around. After momentary thoughts of running away, I put on my big girl panties and cleaned until I found the source. The ILs were here last week and left a tomato in the box of produce delivery. Then a fly laid eggs. You know the rest. It was super gross and I want to die, but at least the source is gone. We opened a window without the screen and many of them flew out, the vacuum got the majority of the rest that had congregated in the skylight. I see like 2 flying around now. H scrubbed down the kitchen and the cat food area got a good bleaching.

DD has had a cold and this afternoon her breathing was fast and shallow, so we went to the pedi. We're now the proud owners of a nebulizer to use every 4 hours for the next few days. She also puked all over her car seat on the way to the doc. I'm running on an average of 5ish hours of sleep the last few nights and heading into my busiest time of the year at work, and we're supposed to head out of town this weekend to a reunion that I don't have the energy to participate in. Beer me.
Is that Merlin magic sleep suit thing for real??? I put it on DS after feeding him (I wanted to see if it would work better than a swaddle) and then put him down in the packnplay will I was packing for the cottage...HE PUT HIMSELF TO SLEEP. DH is all like, well, he was already tired, but usually he requires rocking and what not before he will sleep. THIS IS INSANE.
I am more annoyed than I should be that SIL just (jokingly) told DH that I better "keep my legs crossed until after the 28th". I'm due tbe 28th. She has some work stuff to do and wouldn't be able to come visit/etc until after that.
I am hot and uncomfortable. This baby can come any time he wants as far as I'm concerned and I sure hope I don't go overdue. Blargh.

rugbywife, yay! Hope it continues to work well for him. I usually had L in a sleeper under the suit or just a onesie if it was really hot. Hope he sleeps all night!

I never get involved in FB arguments but this guy I went to HS with just hit a nerve with this:
"You want to be a professional trainer, you should be willing to train people with no shirt on if you're a dude or in a sports bra if you're a woman, FAT TRAINERS have to stop. Why would you ever want to pay or listen to a fat trainer!"
So this exchange happened
Then this bitch commented after me.
And the worst is, one of the comments before mine was "I love this!" From one of my best friends who is eternally and effortlessly thin, always. There could be lots of debate over what he was saying, but his words sucked. And I want to punch my skinny friend who was probably shoveling an entire pizza into her mouth but will not gain an ounce from it.
I'm just cuddling my little baby and feeling mad and sad that there is a mean world out there waiting for her.
Add DS to the asshole toddler list for today. Dinner has become such a pain in the ass. He won't sit in the high chair so we got a booster chair. That wasn't good enough tonight so he ended up at the coffee table in the living room. That went well.
Omg starburst604. That totally hit a nerve with me too and I'm not at all sensitive about FB BS usually. How insulting. On so many levels.
My MIL is in BEC territory with me tonight for a really dumb reason. They got a new screen door today out front and it looks great. The door behind however, leaves a lot to be desired. It came with the joint when they built in the 80s, was originally cream (which looks godawful on a white btw..lol) and now has yellowed. I just joking/in passing..that she should paint the door navy blue or aqua which are her favorite colors. After a list of stupid reasons why she can't she finally says, "I like the color it is!" Dirty yellow cream for the win I guess. I wish she would. It's the first house people see when they drive in the barnyard and would dress the joint up so much. They have what could be such a cute house but it's so stuck in 1983 on so many levels, because hey, why change!?
Tomorrow I need to deep clean. Big time. The clutter is pretty under control/organized well enough but every surface in this place is full of kid stick.
Also I need to update my resume to apply for a promotion I don't want. I'm in a weird place of not wanting to move up, but I can't act comfortable for when I do want to move up.
