Still on my Dr Quinn binge with my super cool DVDs from the library.
Season 6 if depressing. Everyone dying from diphtheria. Which of course is the one booster I can't have. If I go out like some frontier woman someday....

Know what makes that whole thing I mentioned even worse? I FUCKING HAD SEX WITH THAT DUDE BEFORE. Never have I wanted more to rent a Delorean and change the past.
@starry I supplemented with formula with DS1 starting at 6 months so I have no issues doing that except that with my freezer stash I think I could get to 11 months without formula. So part of me wants to make it to a year just so I can say I CAN lol.
Then part of me is like I hate pumping so maybe I just need to use the freezer stash and use some formula for the last month or so if needed.
We switched to goat's milk (it's easier to digest than cow's) when DS1 was 11 months. He did great on it and from there transitioned him to cow.
I had a great day hanging with DD, my two friends came to visit and see her. One brought lunch and one brought a casserole for a dinner this week. Then my mom came over. I got a decent nap in while mom snuggled with the baby.
I feel like I am starting to have some level of routine with her and really get her. I can't believe she was supposed to be born tomorrow. I feel like I got an extra 6 days of tiny baby snuggles.
Today sucked. We had to put my cat to sleep, and we just weren't ready for that...not that you ever can really be ready, but it was so sudden. We told DD that he died and that meant he wouldn't be here anymore, and she cried and said she wanted him here.
I need both kids to go to sleep for a little while so I can have my breakdown.

Waiting for Nods to fall asleep then I'm going to clean the kitchen and make a huge bowl of popcorn. Tomorrow is Chase's one year checkup. I'm excited so see where he falls on the charts.
On the way home, DH asked me to say "thing" and "sing" and asked whether they rhyme. And I'm like yes, of course.
He tells me the way he says them they don't rhyme. But then he proceeds to say thing sing thing sing thing sing for the next 5 minutes and of course they fucking rhyme.
...
omg, this is my contribution to the board. As if the actual occurrence of this didn't make us lame enough, I felt the need to post about it.
Well now I'm saying thing and sing and trying to figure out what weird-ass accent your H could have that would make those two words not rhyme.
I noticed tonight that every e-mail from E's premier dance coordinator comes at around 2:30 am. If my life gets so busy that I have to send out mass e-mails regard friggin dance class at 2:30 am please stage an intervention.
Ugh, one of my friends has joined the ranks of MLMs. It sucks because I really like her and generally enjoy her FB posts (before this) so I don't want to hide her. I really wish FB had a feature where you could hide posts by keyword or something.
My fried just started selling Ner.ium yesterday. Her sponsor(?) welcomed her with a post and now she's made one or two all rah-rah wrinkle cream.

Someone I normally like does the You.nique thing now. I CAN'T anymore with her posts about "sassy lashes". CAN. NOT. She also PMed me about selling that shit. I just ignored it.

Maybe she sets them to go out then?
I doubt because one will go out and then another saying "oh I forgot this" or something like that.
I feel like a broken record. Our foster is great and I really love her but the smell is getting to me. We've bathed her, brushed her and done everything we can. I feel so bad since she has cancer and we're pretty much waiting until it's time to put her down. I wish we were back to just our two but then I feel like an ass for that since that will only happen when she passes.
Dammit, you guys! I cannot download songs on H's phone for some reason. Every time I try it either does nothing or it says "your download will start shortly" but never does. We have the SAME phone and it's working no problem with mine. The Paula Cole ringtone was going to be my revenge for all the terrible music he has been playing on the Echo lately. Now what??
ETA: niq Thanks to you I tried Hootie, too, in case the PC song was just defective but that one didn't work either, lol
Crappy day here.... My 6 year old Maltese/chihuahua mix has to have knee surgery Tuesday. She had hip surgery 5 years ago and now this $5000 was not in my plans 4.5 weeks before vacation.
If I can drag my butt out of bed early I'm planning on leaving earlier than necessary for music class tomorrow so we can stop at the bagel place a mile away from it. I am ridiculously excited. Now it's a toss up to see if my lazyness or my love for food wins.
water*drop - so sorry. My dog passed away very suddenly last year and it was very rough.
ssmjlm - DH got so frustrated with all of the paperwork they asked for when we got our construction loan. It's definitely a pita.
starburst604 - how f-ing obnoxious. Good for you for calling him out, even if it clearly fell on deaf ears.
I went to Zumba for the first time in years today. I figured it was safe, since I knew I wouldn't be putting pressure on my shoulder like I would had I gone to yoga instead (I hurt my neck and shoulder in yoga last week). And it was great! Me and my belly were breaking it down! Plus the instructor was great - it was more hip hop-y than previous zumba classes I've taken.
@this I thought that was going to be a bfp announcement hidden in randoms. Don't do that! PS please start pming me pics of all the tests so I can help look for lines.
Also I tested and got negatives at 4 dpo and 7 dpo. And then when I looked at the 7 dpo test at 10 dpo I convinced myself there was a line there (?) so you should just test every day is my point.
@this, I have tested every morning from 7DPO forward for the last 2 cycles. Thank god for cheap pee sticks. I always convince myself that I see something, only to remind myself that dude, you have to actually see something in order to be pregnant. Not just imagine seeing something. Also, god damn it takes a while for my eyes to adjust in the morning. Maybe I need reading glasses?
I've also gotten really good at peeing into the package they come in.

Oh I'm sorry! We've been there, done that and it's no fun. Last July one of our dogs needed knee surgery but then it didn't take and she had to have it done TWO MORE times! Finally once that healed her other knee went out and we shelled out even more $$ (because of course the price went up since it was 7 months later) to fix that knee. So yeah, 4 knee surgeries in one year.
Not sure what she's having done or what recovery looks like but those 8 weeks of rest after each surgery was very hard for all of us.

I'll cross my fingers all goes smoothly!
Omg that's so terrible that you had to do surgery so many times!!!! I am not looking forward to the 8 weeks crate rest

What? NO! That's not how you do it! Get those little dixie cups and pee into that. Then just dip the stick in. Doing it this way allows you to use multiple tests with the same urine. Better odds of seeing or imagining a line.

Android? Email an mp3 to him (or post to Google drive or something), then download it and use Ringtone Maker.
OMG you guys are killing me! I must have learned the trick from @notquiteblushing? Yes, my aim has gotten pretty good. Also, a good Kegel exercise since I start peeing to establish a stream, stop to position the package, then start peeing again.
Look, I'll admit that it's not perfect. Thorough hand washing and sanitizer is a must.
Having a kid is messy, yo. From beginning to end.
And, no fucking way am I working into my work bathroom with a dixie cup to take an OPK. I already struggle with how to discreetly hang in the bathroom for 5 minutes to wait for test results.
I baffled by the pee stick talk. Dixie cups? Waiting for it to dry? You pee, run the stick under, pull it out, it has one line or two pretty much as soon as the pee hits it, toss in trash
