Our nanny is newly pregnant and has horrible morning sickness, so much so that she is loosing weight and hasn't eaten in a week. I know some people actually get medication for this -- what is it called? I want to tell her, since she doesn't speak English well (or almost at all) and this would help her explain to the doctor what she needs.
Most doctors aren't prescribing Zofran anymore due to the controversy around it. This pregnancy I was prescribed both Reglan and Phenergan.
??
I've scanned some headlines about Zoloft concerns but what is bein said about zofran?
It made a world of difference for me with my second. But definitely take it with colace.
There are lawsuits out there claiming it causes birth defects. Based on the comments I've heard from providers, there isn't a whole lot of proof to the allegations, but obviously they want to protect themselves from from stuff like that.
I took it with my first pregnancy until I was 20 weeks and it made a huge difference for me as well.
With my first pregnancy, I got zofran after constant sickness and losing weight. In hindsight, I wish I had asked for some help sooner. WRT Zofran I'd do a little research first, but wouldn't take it off the table until I found compelling evidence against it...
