G slept in the nursery each night we were there (4). I still feel guilty about this even though I was coming off 26 hours of labor, 2+ hours of pushing, and an unplanned CS. That first week was SO hard. This is ridiculous because it was over a year ago, but it still randomly bugs me. :/
My room. the hospital I used didn't have a nursery and I wouldn't have used it anyway. I was paranoid about BF and strictly anti-nursery because I was convinced they'd give him formula and pacifiers while he was there and sabotage our BF relationship. Lol

We had a combination of room and nursery.
My H and I were both exhausted, naturally, and one of the night nurses came in and offered to take her to the nursery for a few hours and bring her back when she was hungry. We looked a her with a "you can do that?" sort of look and I think I started crying.
J was always with me the 5 nights we were there. The girls went to the nursery the morning of the day we left so H and I could nap. I had only slept 1 hr in the last 36 and I needed to sleep!
Eta: actually, there wasn't a nursery. The nurses just kept them at the nurses station that was out in front of our room. Our nurse was the one to suggest it. Thank God she did because the next several days I would also only sleep 1 to 2 hrs in a 24 hr period.
Nursery. They actually suggested it- to allow me to try and get SOME sleep. And even that sucked. The nurses kept coming in and checking on me every few hours. God, that sucked.
In my room. I delivered at a baby friendly hospital and they don't take babies to the nursery for anything other than a few tests. Both deliveries, last year and last month, my girls left my room maybe for less than a half hour my entire hospital stay.
With my 3.5 yr old son, the nursery and our room. That was the best. He would start there, they'd bring him to eat and then back to the nursery. I was there for 5 nights because of a c section and we used that option 3 out of the 5 nights.
DD1 slept in the nursery and they would bring her to me to nurse. DD2 slept in my room because the labor and delivery unit was all full and we had to stay in pediatrics where there isn't a nursery. I plan to have DD3 go to the nursery if it is available.

My room. They never took him to the nursery and I wanted to cry. I actually don't understand they there is even a nursery since they wouldn't take him.
NICU one night and my room the rest of the time. There was no regular nursery at our hospital - but the nurses would keep the baby at their station if you asked.
Nursery because I sent DH home to sleep and given the meds I was on I wasn't allowed to be alone with DD. They brought her in to feed.
The second night she had to have a carseat test since she was earlier than 37 weeks. The do it in the special care nursery and since it's not busy in the middle of the night they do it then.
Nicu. The last night a nurse snuck him into our room with us (by request). They don't keep well babies in the nursery though, so this one will (hopefully) be in our room.
DS was in the NICU for 5 days, so he slept there. DD slept in the warming bassinet in our room. Our hospital doesn't have a nursery. Baby is either in the NICU or in your room.
Nursery! There is no way I wasn't taking advantage of that Plus my coworkers took cute pictures of her while I was sleeping I combo fed until my milk came in so I had them do a feeding in the middle of the night so I could get a 5-6 hour stretch of sleep and took an ambien. It was glorious.
My room. I will fully admit to being crazy mama bear after birth and wouldn't let either one out of my sight. I had c-sections both times so H had to get them for me when they cried. My hospital requires that dad (or another adult) stays all night or they have to go to the nursery. I remember with my first my H (a doc at the hospital) got called to the floor for a patient and he waited until my mom got there so the baby didn't go to the nursery.
