My husband's cousin is here for the weekend in his quest to visit every baseball stadium in America. We are going to see the Cubs today, the Brewers tomorrow and the White Sox on Monday. Yay for beer and hotdogs?!?!
Oh! Another random. We had an 11/year old sitter last night for 4 hours while we were out of town. I was nervous, but her parents were close by and she's responsible. OMG she was amazing!!!! Had both kids sleeping nicely, cleaned up, and the 3-year old was upset she was gone this morning when he got up.
She's way better than our 16-year old.
We still paid her $10/hour and part of me was like OMG we are paying this much for a child, but whatever. Her dad is my boss so I didn't want to cheap out. Lol.
brooklyn I'm liking the picture for the shirt. I would totally do the same thing! Hope cleaning and selling are fast!
H asked for another shirt in case that one gets wet in the sprinklers. I handed him J's swimsuit instead. Kid is not changing out of that shirt in MIL's presence, lol.
DS' Thomas potty was delivered yesterday and his Thomas underwear are all ready to go. I'm thinking we might try it when we get home from our stay at the grandparents' next week.

Got home at 7:40 this morning after a 5 hour trip home from an awful (or at least very not fun) weeklong trip to my parents' at the lake. So glad to be back home and that the next time we go H will be with us. Waiting out lunch now so I can go NAP.
I was bad and went to Costco with DH and DS this morning since I was craving one of their hot dogs. We were only there 30 minutes but now I'm exhausted & have had some cramps. Getting myself set up in bed for the rest of the day.
We've had a great Saturday so far. We went out to breakfast then the Farmer's Market. DS helped me pick out a delicious-looking watermelon for dessert tonight. Then we went to Target for preschool supplies. I was pleasantly surprised to find the aisles well-stocked, I got everything on the list very quickly. Then lunch at Red Robin which is fast becoming our fav lunch place. Big kids menu with pictures, nice salads for me, and big beer selection for DH. Everyone is happy!
Right now I think I'll get a magical unicorn moment where both kids nap at the same time.
We have friends from OOT stopping through for the afternoon and night on their way to vacation. They have 4 and 6 yo boys, who will have been stuck in the car all day. It is 105 degrees here, so outdoor activities are unappealing. Trying to come up with a plan to entertain 7, 6, 5, 4, and 2 yo boys inside from 3 to 8pm is harder than one might think.
Well crap. They just called to say they would be here in 15 minutes instead of at 3. My house is still a wreck, and I was going to make brownies and buy more beer and wine. Oops.
V has been super pukey this morning we are binge watching Daniel Tiger. Bummer of a weekend for Dad to visit but we're rolling with it. Mom is off at a day spa.
Ds slept until 8:30 this morning. I was awake at 6 ugh. I had hot coffee and breakfast in peace with DH though!
Took a trek to trader joes where Ds pushed a mini Cart around and was so adorable. He picked out waffles and yogurt to buy. Then we had yummy bbq. I need to get Ds down for a nap but I am being lazy.
Having one of those days where I am just so jealous of those that have in-laws or parent who can actually watch or entertain their child for more then 10 minutes. My In laws are here so along with dealing with a toddler who has upped his " NO " game I am also entertaining my inlaws. Blahhhhh.
After about 2 months of the garage being cluttered with baby gear we needed to sort through and tools from our DIY projects I can finally park in it again!!!!
I've been slowly sorting through the baby gear all week and DH and I spent about 1.5 hours this morning cleaning and organizing the tools and random stuff.
I went and got my car washed and detailed (total splurge for us!) and it was amazing just to pull it into the garage when I got back.
I'm sitting here debating loading up the baby and walking to Dunkin' Donuts to get breakfast. I could really go for a sausage, egg & cheese sandwich. Buuuut, that's 19 points and I really need to be serious about WW so I can fit back into my clothes at some point.
My H is working all weekend. I feel bad for him, but worse for me. I'm ready for a few hours w/o the baby and I don't see my break coming until Monday when my few hours away will be spent at work. Bummer.
I think we found a new apartment yesterday! YAY. I'm going to drop off our application today and hope for the best.
I didn't lose any weight BFing, but dropped it all after he weaned. Go with that theory, and eat DD! ?
