Well, V puked right after waking up from his nap, so we are at urgent care, taking Zofran & then giving him Gatorade in tiny amounts every five minutes. We came prepared, so he is main lining Thomas YouTube clips.
He is in pretty good spirits and doesn't have any other serious symptoms. It's a bummer but things could be a lot worse.

MIL started some "WILD" inspired hike yesterday and has already called 3 times to complain about how hard it is.
DH is so tired from work this week none of the chores have gotten done but he says he will be lifting tonight. Um ok dude but stuff better get done tomorrow!
H wanted to go help a friend build some cabinets this afternoon. He offered to take the kids, but I didn't want friend's wife to be stuck with all four kids (theirs and mine) so I went too. Now somehow it ended up that all three of then are building cabinets and I'm at Chil fil A with all four kids.
After three days of horrific naps we seem to be back on track today. Probably thanks to the molar and canine that appeared overnight. Two more canines to go and then we should have a break for a few months!
I'm feeling nauseous, lying on the couch watching the NFL hall of fame inductions. Charles Haley's speech was hilarious. I have reached the point where I am over being pregnant. Get out of my belly baby!!
I had Friday off because my parents came into town Th night, so I got to see my parents this weekend (eee!), got to go on a date yesterday and didn't pay a sitter (yay!), and even though it feels like Sunday now, I have Sunday to look forward to (WOOHOO!).
We went to Ikea this afternoon and managed to leave with only the two items we went to purchase. It was a long drive for such a small purchase, but it was nice to have a little errand for that chunk of time in the afternoon, and I'm proud of us for not buying a bunch of random junk.
My H accidentally insulted me pretty badly this afternoon, but we recovered well, so that was good. He's watching the football hall of fame presentation now, and I hope to have some quiet time to read (All Joy, No Fun) before bedtime.
We are just about to go to a friends 30th bday bbq. It's a kid friendly party since they have 3 young kids. They are setting up a bounce house in their backyard.
DH was like, "How is this going to to be different then the bbq's we go to for their kids bday parties?"
Um, it's in the evening and their will be more booze? Besides that, not much, lol.

After a really lovely day of lounging and going out to dinner, I was almost done with the bedtime story when DD crawled onto my lap and proceeded to exorcist ALL OVER ME. and herself too, of course. H got her in the bath while I scrubbed the carpet and evicted every stuffed animal from her crib in the event of a recurrence
I was supposed to read today, but had to watch DS while DH and MIL were at the emergency room. So now I have to start.
Am I a dick for making DH miss the soccer game? MIL was at the ER and they found out that she has some kidney issues and her blood pressure meds were slowly overdosing her. She says she feels fine now, but she was really dizzy earlier today (which is what prompted the ER visit).
I need some quiet and don't feel like it should be on MIL. Tell me I'm right.
You're right.
You need to do your hw that you had previously planned on doing when he was at the ER. Doing it tonight isn't your choice just like missing the game isn't his choice.
DS spent all day playing with a balloon. And refusing his nap.
He's outgrown his 12 month shirts almost overnight (too short) but he looks ridiculous in 18 month stuff. Whyyyyy is there no middle ground? Moms of skinny kids (MOSKs?) - what do you do?
M went on all the rides on the boardwalk he could by himself and had a BLAST. Then proceeded to have a massive meltdown when we got in the car and home because I think he was overtired and stimulated. As I was putting him to bed I am pretty sure my MIL was telling H that she thinks there must be something developmentally wrong with him because obviously there could be no other reason an almost 3 year old has a tantrum . I am none to pleased.
We went to spk926 's house tonight. DS had so much fun playing with the other kids, he wore himself out. He was asleep before we got out of their neighborhood

DS's summer camp had an end-of-summer carnival today. In situations like that, my kids go everywhere and do everything together. Other parents asked us if they always get along so well. NO, ONLY IN PUBLIC! Why can't they like each other at home?!

I just discovered girl on the train is also a movie and I have free access to it thanks to my library. Now just to convince my husband to watch with me.
Corbin is playing in a soccer tournament with his new team this weekend. They have lost all three of the games they played so far. It is not fun to watch your kid get discouraged.
H and Ollie are still out. I didn't get a chance to nap, but I got all my bills paid, my mom's bills paid, cleaned the house, started laundry, and caught up all the tv shows I had been neglecting. I am contemplating going to bed now, so H has to do bed time by himself. Note that he was golfing all day and I got up super early to get the kid ready for him, so he owes me!
@starry I think coordinating is fine for one year. Two in a row wous be weird. I would always look at the pictures and say, hey remember that time that I didn't get the matching dresses in the right SiZe.
