DS is snuggling in bed with me singing songs & playing on his kindle.
Later we have to go to my moms boyfriends grandsons birthday party. DS loves him but I don't really want to go at all. It's a pool party & I have my period & I don't like the boyfriend & his family.
Also the boyfriends daughter is my skanky cousin's BFF. & I know she will be at the party & I haven't seen her in like 20 years so I was hoping to avoid it now
My H acts like he cannot POSSIBLY do a MOTN when he has to work the next day. This has been mostly fine, since I have been on leave, but I go back to work tomorrow. So. Buck up, H!
I'm just so over doing all the MOTN because he ... doesn't want to??? Neither effing do I! Gah.
Clearly I'm grumpy.
I'm having coffee before I get us ready to go to church. Here is hoping for a good day.
God, I'm dealing with the same thing and I'm so OVER it! DD is 13 months and I believe H has done exactly 1 MOTN. I go back to work next month and unfortunately DD still wakes up once or twice, and I refuse to continue to do them all myself. Yes I have the boobs, but she doesn't need the milk, she just needs the comfort.

OMFG YES!
I'm like "he is not hungry!" When I get up, he nurses for approximately 7 seconds before he falls asleep again.
This morning at 3:30 my H "tries" by getting him and putting him in bed. Um. Not working.
So help me God, if I hear him complain even ONE TIME today about being up in the MOTN I will lose shit.
He did promise to do all night tonight so we will see.
After not napping all day yesterday, DS woke up at 1:30 and 4:30, then was up for the day at 6:40. WTF? And my H is still sleeping. I kind of want to smother him (my H, not DS!) with a pillow.

Hugs @justdairy
I think this baby flipped breech again . My anxiety is pretty high and I am so ready for her to come out.
We're heading out to grocery shop then my mom is taking DD to church. Lunch, playing, nap, then steak dinner at my parents followed by swimming to tire DD out before bed. Should be a nice Sunday!
Everyone is asleep except me. I'm pumping. Story of my life. I'm glad Ben is sleeping in. We got home at 2 a.m. and neither I nor DH are able to parent a toddler on little sleep.
I just started Property Brothers: Moving and Selling. Love the brothers.
DS's birthday party is today. 18 family members coming over. I made two Spanish tortillas last night and a huge bowl of lentil salad. Have meatballs in the slow cooker now. Will go pick up the cake as soon as DS is down for his nap (soon) and then probably make a pot of arroz con garbanzos and stop obsessing about whether that's enough food. I also have chips, dry chorizo, manchego cheese, mussels & octopus appetizer (a big hit with my crowd, don't turn your nose up)...
I might even get in a run before the party starts at 1.
We've been watching tv since 6am and just started Finding Nemo. Moty. Upside is that his fever seems to be going down a bit. He's definitely still warm and very snuggly though, so we're not out of the woods yet.
DH and DD1 just went to Home Depot. DD2 is napping in the swing and I'm on my second cup of coffee watching Buying and Selling, thanks to @notquiteblushing. Not much on the docket today - I have three loads of clean laundry to put away, which have been clean in baskets for several days. Putting away clothes is me least favorite chore. I need to go grocery shopping at some point as well.
DH was just complaining to me that he feels like he's drowning with work, chores and caring for M while I've been sick. I feel bad but I mean it isn't going to be any easier with a newborn either.
We're back home from NH. We had above few days, but DS' schedule is all off. He went to bed at 9:30-10 the last few nights. He was sleeping in at the condo, but was up at his normal time today.
We have a cook out/baby shower later today so he's down for an early nap. Hoping he's not too much of a beast later. Oh, and he's teething. Again.
I'm counting the seconds until my husband comes home from work because my kid won't stop whining, but the reality is he will be exhausted from waking up at 4am and I can't just dump her on him.
My H made breakfast this morning and DD1 ate approximately 6 eggs. There is no other food she loves as much as them, it is ridiculous.
I'm on the couch supervising the babies with propped bottles while DD1 uses the iPad. I'm coughing constantly and just want to sleeeep. Hoping I can nap when the babies go down.
After several nights of MOTN wake ups/fussiness, DS slept through the night! Maybe those teeth are done for now?
I'm starting to get excited about fall because of the cute clothes I'm buying for DS! I'm not excited about trying to cram his feet in to real shoes, though. Sandals have been my lifesaver this summer.
DS can't wear sandals to preschool and I'm hoping to find some shoes that are easier to fit his feet into than the stride rite ones he has almost outgrown. Sandals are so easy!

Also, my h is out boating with a friend yesterday, spent the night and today. I want to be pissed about solo parenting, but I can't because I go away with my girlfriends for two nights next weekend. Woot!
I made a huge bowl of pasta salad for our church potluck. We also turned down a trip to the zoo because of the potluck. H got to church before me as dd is still sleeping and texted me that the potluck is cancelled. RAGE
E wasn't interested in playing for very long when we went to the farm. So my hopefully 90min outing was barely 45mins. She said she was tired, so I'm guess she's still not feeling 100%. She did amazing at the grocery store and stayed in the cart with snack.
So we're home watching some Disney Junior and she's eating grapes she picked out at the store.
I may nap when she does, although I need to clean the last 2 windows.
I maybe got 4 or 5 hours of broken sleep last night due to various pregnancy factors and a snoring DH.
I'm taking the boys to a big sibling class this morning and then we are having about 20 people (kids and adults) over for an end of summer bbq and pool party.
