Do any other STMs have things that make you feel like a new mom all over again? Transitioning to WCM is one of those for me...
Tell me how you did it, words of advice, etc. I am in the process of transitioning DS. He has been exclusively bottle fed. I pumped for 8 months and then transitioned to formula. I keep reminding myself that transition took time and this one likely will too. Right now, he receives bottle at bedtime and MOTN only. I offer him WCM at every meal, and randomly throughout the day right now but it takes one or two sips only. I do give him water ultimately so he stays hydrated. He eats plenty of dairy products.
Our pedi strongly recommends ditching bottles by 1 year. I am ok with bedtime and MOTN bottles for a while though. I don't want to do formula in a cup unless he needs it however he eats more than my 2.5 yo DD and is >98% height and > 85% weight so I think we'll be ok. He eats 3 solid meals and 2-3 snacks every day.

I can't see your siggie, so I'm not sure how old he is. Is he still doing formula? What I did was I slowly mixed ratios of white cows milk and formula, so the transition wasn't a big deal. DD still takes a couple bottles of WCM a day, but it's mostly a comfort thing. She takes sippies at daycare all day and sippies with meals.
And yes, DD has been so different from DS, I feel like a first-time mom all over again with her. I hear you.
We dropped bottles around ten months, then went to WCM cold turkey right around a year (a little later so we could finish our formula tub). She balked for a couple of days, but I think it was more because the milk was cold and she was used to room temp bottles.
