Saturday: 10am - 101.5 fever, gave Motrin 11am - down to 100.something, throws up after eating grapes, though I'm fairly certain it was a gag reflex because it hasn't happened again 3pm - 100.something, still tired and snuggly 5pm - 102.5, Motrin 8pm - 104.2, gave a cool bath and cool compresses to bring it down to 102.something
Since last night his temp hovered at 102 overnight and about 100-101 all day. His whole body still feels hot and he's definitely not feeling himself.
Do I call the doctor since he's had a consistent fever for over 24 hours? No other symptoms except the tiredness/being snuggly.
I feel like Tylenol/Motrin (which I'm alternating) are only bringing his temp down temporarily, though it hasn't gone past 103 since last night.
I would keep treating the fever and would not go in at this point. Fevers typically last 1-3 days.
I ended up calling after hours care and that's basically what they said. We're going to keep alternating Tylenol and Motrin for now. I'm trying to push fluids and he's had a fair amount this morning but still only one wet diaper since 9pm last night. He finally fell asleep next to me in my bed so maybe some rest will help.

When A had a high fever I was basically told to give him popsicles or freeze pops to get fluids in him too. I would maybe think about going tomorrow if it doesn't break soon.
