Anyone hear about flu shots this year?

My kids have their 1 year check up Oct 12. Is that too late or can I get it then?

I think at that age it requires 2 doses, so you may want to call your pedi and ask.

Ds' bday is oct 12 and he gets it each year right around then.

The first time they get it they need two doess though, so you'll probably have to go back a month after for the second shot.

I think that's fine. My pedi actually advises not getting it in august because sometimes the worst of the flu comes in the late winter/early spring months and the immunity may not be as great if you get it really early. I usually take the kids sometime around the end of september/october.
