Did anyone get these? Is the coupon from last week (that I probably threw out) still good? What was the stock like in your store? How does the quality and sizing compare to regular Stride Rite?
I got a pair last week for DS1 as new school shoes. He hasn't worn them yet, but stock in the store was good. I didn't know there was a coupon so I paid full price, which still wasn't bad.
I'm boycotting SR since they've been telling me my kid is a wide when two different Nordstrom people told me she's definitely not a wide. They're either idiots or fibbing so I buy SR shoes since wides are harder to come by.
At Target the Stride Rite display has a sign saying 60% of kids have wide feet so SR is wider to accommodate that. I guess that means being too wide for regular SR is really wide. Weird.

What brands does she fit that are not wides? I still haven't found non-wide shoes that fit well. My daughters foot doesn't LOOK wide, but I guess it's the puffy/tall wide based on how her shoes fit? Honestly though I haven't had her measured anywhere else so she might actually be in wides.

I just got her these during the anniversary sale. Cora has a high instep but not a wide foot. She can wear Sauconys too but they're so clunky she's always tripping. These are light and flexible.
Thanks. I'll check those out. The Velcro sauconys didn't close very well over the top of M's foot so I'm not sure these would work better, but I'm going to need more shoe options for fall!
