We want to buy a new car and I was planning on the Honda Accord - the navigation system sucked though. I test-drove a Camry and really liked it. Any one have one? Do you like it? Any pros or cons?
I am tempted to get the hybrid, but it is $5k more and I'm not sure it is worth it for that price.
I have a 2012 Corolla, which is basically a mini camry now. The interior is identical to the camry. So I might be able to answer questions about that.
I've used to Toyota Care roadside towing and that got a +1 in my book. Otherwise my only Toyota complaint is that Toyota Financial makes it a pita to pay extra on your car loan. If they are doing any interest rate promos, go for it. I got 1.9% apr and my credit is good but not amazing.

I don't have a 2012, but I do love my 2007 which I'm sure they've upgraded since then. I don't like the slight body changes to the 2012, so I probably won't get another one.
That said, it's great on mileage and has a really good sound system. The trunk is spacious, and really no complaints.
I have a 2012, not sure of the letters but it's the non-hybrid top model. I LOVE it. It has the in-dash navigation, satellite radio, bluetooth, every detail you could want. And the ride is amazing. I've had three Camrys and this one is by far the best. They really improved this one
Honda is coming out with a beautiful brand new Accord in the fall.
I did hear this, but I tend to be an instant gratification, impulse buying kind of person and I don't want to wait. Also, I will probably get a better deal on the 2012
I have a 2007 SE and it's a great car. Just hit 100k miles on . The only thing I ever complain about is that the rear seats don't fold down but I'm pretty sure that's one of the changes they made to the 2012. Other than that, no issues.
My brother leased a 2012 (or maybe 2011?) Camry in 2011, he likes it for it's reliability and likes the car in general, but he's turning it in next year for a BMW. I have a fully loaded 2005 Accord and absolutely love it. I use to have an older model Camry too. Between the two, I like the Accord much better and I'm driving it until it dies.
I don't think a hybrid for $5k more is worth it. It'll take years before you get the difference back in gas.
I work with several people who have 2012 Camrys and they LOVE them. The ride (at least in the XLE... the SE I believe has a firmer suspension) is really smooth, and it's a quiet and reliable car.
Side note: I have an 8 year old Camry Solara (basically a Camry coupe) and I love it just as much as the day I bought it. Never given me an ounce of trouble (knock on wood). I'm a Toyota fan.
I drove a 2012 Toyota Camry for a week (rental) and absolutely adored it. It handled beautifully, I loved having Bluetooth built in, loved when it kicked in to eco mode, loved the room in the back...it was a super awesome car. I'm fully set on a Camry being my next vehicle!
