Ugh, sorry chickens987. I've been meaning to ask how the search is going. It seems like you're going on tons of interviews.
Thanks. I've actually only interviewed with 4 places - one ended up pulling the job. There was this one, then I had a first (really good) interview somewhere last week, should hear this week. I also am through to the final round (the fourth!, which is probably why it seems like I've had so many, LOL) at one place, but that's not until next Friday. So I am still applying, but I am really hoping one of these two works out.
I did just apply today to a place that's five minutes from my house - that would be amazing!
I can't believe my severance runs out end of September. I am mildly freaking out about that.
I caved and am hosting a Lu.La.roe party on FB because my CW wants to order some stuff. Let me know if you want an invite. The person hosting is non-pushy and I genuinely do like the clothes I've purchased (although I admit there is some fug involved).
Thanks to a discussion with one of my patients about Olive Garden yesterday, I've been craving it since. Lucky for me J is off today and I think he said we can take AJ there later...minestrone soup, salad, and breadsticks get in my belly! (yes, that's what I'm craving. Weird I know.)

I'm also wearing leggings today. We're having a presentation in our division meeting that requires "comfortable clothing." It's related to physical activity in schools, so I'm expecting exercise demonstrations. Be jealous lol.
I'm so excited for dinner tonight because we are taking MIL out to eat rather than eating her cooking.
She cooked Italian sausage, LEFT IT OUT OVERNIGHT, and then cooked it the next afternoon with the peppers and onions that she had washed, cut up, and also LEFT OUT OVERNIGHT. No, thank you!
Where are you going? I love so many restaurants in your neighborhood!
I have @mrswindycity's arni giovetsi (lamb baked with orzo and tomatoes) in the oven right now. Except I made it with pork because my store has a dismal selection of lamb, and I can't afford to pay a million dollars for a leg. lol
It smells so fucking good. I got some myzithra cheese to crumble on the top. Om nom nom.
osulori I need hair pats. Lately C has been stuttering a lot--as in, "I-I-I-I-I-I want w-w-w-waffles for breakfast!" or similar. Totally normal at his age (almost 3), right? It really just seems like his brain is working faster than his mouth, but he does get frustrated. Should we ignore?
DS1, H, is doing this all.the.time lately. So are most kids in our playgroup. My vote is normal. If it's not, we need to speak to someone too. H is doing this so much.

Interesting day. Went to a pool event with a local MOMs group. DS1 freaked out, although we knew most of the people, because it was a new setting. And there he got his first two bee stings! One on his face, and one on his arm. My poor baby. Cue massive tears. We didn't know there was a nest near the food table.
DS2 has discovered the toilet. DS1 never noticed, but DS2 keeps crawling into the bathroom and trying to touch the toilet bowl water. WTF?!? I think he is going to keep me on my toes more than DS1 did.
I didn't feel like fighting with DS1 so he is reading in bed quietly. DH is working late, I'm tried and watch to watch my show because I pack for our trip tomorrow.
