What products (if any) safely remove pesticides from the outside of produce? I've read so many things online and don't know what to use.
Plain water seems no better than rain. Vinegar leaves an aftertaste. I bet bleach would work but kill us. Lol.
Confession: I've just been barely rinsing dirt off lately. I feel like there are so many chemicals inside non organic produce anyway that what's the use? Lol.
I let them soak in water with some vinegar and then rinse them off. I've never had an aftertaste of vinegar. I think there are some fruit and veggie washes out there but I think a lot of them are just vinegar water, lol.

What proportion of water to vinegar do you use? Maybe I add too much vinegar. I am generous.

I don't use an exact recipe but it's usually maybe a quarter to half cup for a bowl? Not sure what size the bowls are.. like a regular mixing bowl. Sorry I'm not that helpful, lol.
Well, I just bought a few more gallons of vinegar (I use it in laundry) so I will give it a try again. I'm starting to feel guilty feeding M unwashed fruit or barely washed.
