Got the official rejection from job #1, boo. Not too surprised by that. At least they contacted me and let me know, too many places just interview you and you never hear from them again.
Crap....their loss HoneySpider . You hear from Job #2 this Friday right?
We had a surprise visit from the state auditor yesterday. UGGGGGHHHHH That is as fun as root canal. Of course, I came in a solid hour early today in preparation for anything they may be looking for....and nothing. Boss just came in 5 minutes ago saying we passed. Now, I need a nap...

MrsMB Job #2 just said to expect to hear this week. Also, knowing the way they operate over there (this is DH's university) I would not at all be surprised to not actually hear anything this week. His interview process was so long and drawn out, I would expect nothing but the same.
MrsMB we have auditors coming next week. Luckily I don't have to do much because if they come to watch me do anything, my higher up boss will be there to field questions for me! Haha
I feel more awake today than I have in a long time. I'm not sure why. I went to bed super early but didn't fall asleep much earlier than usual. Whatever it is, I could get used to it! I'm sick of being so tired and feeling like I'm just a blob going through the motions. I've been having kind of a rough time lately so this is a welcome change!

DS is having tubes put in and a scope on Friday. I just got a call from the surgery center quoting me a price for the procedure that exceeds my already met deductible and my out of pocket max. I asked the surgery center to call my insurance company since things didn't seem right....fortunately things worked out and I am now on being charged $300 which is $1300 less than their initial quote!
I am now looking for freezer breakfast ideas on Pinterest. I might make smoothie packs as well as the burritos I already planned on making.
I swam today, the first time in years, it wasn't as easy as I remember it being. Lol. I planned on swimming for 30-40 mins and at the 20 min mark I stopped. (I swam 1-2 laps of the pool then took a break and repeated 5 times) I felt so out of my element.
I am currently getting highlights. I wish this process was a little faster! But I am excited to have pretty hair for a day. I love when they blow it out.
Today is a great day because I am alive and functioning. Yesterday I had the worst migraine that I've had in several years. It lasted 9 hours, my husband had to leave work to watch M, and I vomited so violently that today my face is spotted with broken blood vessels. I wasn't sure if I'd ever feel better again.
HoneySpider sorry about the job I hope you get one of the other ones soon! I do agree that at least they let you know. My H barely gets contacted after interviews anymore. It's so rude.
melsamoony One of my favorite parts of my husband being home after work is getting to use the bathroom in peace. Who ever thought that would become a luxury? ha.
estrellita So glad you had a burst of energy today! Hopefully it sticks around. I didn't get my energy back until M was 7 months, so you're ahead of the game!

amaranth I don't even know why I'm so tired. E sleeps through the night minus the occasional lost pacifier, lol. He's in our room though so I wonder if I half wake up every time he moves/sneezes/coughs or something. It will be interesting to see if I feel any better once E is in his own room at the house! I'm generally a tired person anyways though. I do need to exercise more but it's hard when you're so tired!

I don't sleep well either, but I never have, even as a kid. I'll wake up if someone across the street drops a pin onto a rug, lmao. I was diagnosed years ago with sleep apnea, but there is no way I'm using one of those clunky, loud, impossible to sleep with, CPAP machines.

Ugh yeah I don't think I could sleep with a CPAP on! My anxiety has been keeping me awake mostly. I went in a few years ago to figure out any other reasons I might be so tired all the time (most of the time I get enough sleep) and all they found at the time was a vitamin D deficiency. Who in MN doesn't have that? Haha. I've been taking a vitamin D supplement but it doesn't seem to help. I've also tried B vitamins without luck. I just have zero energy most of the time!

Honestly, when I really can't sleep I'll take Hyland's Calms Forte. It was the only thing I could take while pregnant because it's homeopathic, it's non-habit forming and it helps you relax opposed to forcing you to sleep.

I might have to look into that! I've taken melatonin before and that does help but occasionally I'll feel a little groggy from that.

HoneySpider - that sucks! hopefully the next one will be THE ONE. I actually had to call someone today and not offer them a job that they were totally expecting. It sucked. I could never work in HR.
amaranth - that is the worst! So glad you are feeling some relief today!
