Not sure about Aetna, but I loved the OB GYN practice I used when I lived in Houston--Complete Women's Care. I used Dr. Jurney. I also observed a lot of the OBs in that practice during deliveries when I was on my OB rotation in nursing school. They deliver in the Med Center and Pearland.
I adore my OB but she does not take Aetna. The only doctors in my area that take Aetna deliver at our local hospital (which is a big fat NO). I'll have to drive into Houston or to The Woodlands for ob care to deliver at an acceptable hospital.
Lol, NO, looking at some insurance options and being proactive since we intend to TTC #2 within the next year and that's pretty much my only anticipated medical event, knock on wood.
ETA: It looks like DH and DD on one plan and me on a marketplace plan ($$$$$$, ugh) might be our best option if I don't want to have to drive 20+ miles for obgyn office visits. I don't mind driving for delivery, don't have a choice if I want to deliver at better hospitals, but not thrilled with driving so far for all those office visits. My ob's main office is in TW but she comes to my burb twice a week.
