When did you feel your infants neck got strong enough that they didn't mind tummy time. I feel like at this age she should be stronger. If she's sitting in the bumbo she can hold her head up but hates tummy time still and doesn't lift her head very well while on her stomach. Part of me wonders too if because we see her mostly at night if she's just more tired.

Ds is 5.5 months and isn't big on tummy time, he lasts a minute or two then rolls over.
He definitely has to be in a good mood. Do they work on it at childcare? My dcp pretty much forces it (let him fuss and complain aboyt hating tt) and it's definitely helped
Eta: I know the more you do it the more it helps, we've tried the boppy under him and I always put fun toys in front of him trying to hold interest

M didn't like tummy time at that age either. His therapist recommended having him sit on our chest or carrying him in an airplane hold around the house. Those are generally positions they don't mind, but still works the appropriate muscles.

Honestly probably until 7 or 8 months. She Haaaaaaaated it. But with her being a brace for her hips I was bad about making sure to do tummy time because I felt bad. She ended up in PT cause she was behind in gross motor and now we are all good. But I had to do a lot of sitting of chest and other tricks vs floor time.
C hated tummy time until maybe 8 months when we decided to try putting down an exercise mat. It was a little squishy (but not too squishy). He loved it.
He has never been a big fan, but daycare has been good about having him do it for 20 minutes a day. The older kids all "help" by lying on their tummies next to him and making him laugh, so now he finally is starting to think it's a fun thing. More often than not, though, he'll tolerate it for two minutes, try to get up on all fours to crawl, realize he can't, and then roll over onto his back. His head lifting got really good at 4 months, I would say, after daycare had been doing tummy time with him consistently for a month. We mainly did it with him on our chests before that.
DD is 4.5 months and will tolerate tummy time for a few minutes, then start screeching at me. Which is saying A LOT b/c she is a verrrry chill baby. I don't recall DS every really loving it. I just did it b/c I was supposed to.
E seems to like it more at DC than at home. He tolerates it for a bit but then gets tired and keeps putting his head down. He knows how to roll both ways but sometimes he forgets how to go back to his back, haha. E is about 5 1/2 months. Sometimes we let him fuss a little before we flip him back over so he can figure it out but he gets frustrated easily

I have the weird kid, I guess, that loved tummy time - she'd curl her little knees in and go to sleep, lol. Which created its own challenges, I suppose. Since the goal is strengthening those muscles, we did some of the same things as Tamb. We also carried her upright a lot, and had her sit on our laps rather than always laying in our arms.
She had to be interested and distracted, otherwise she'd fall asleep.
I didn't focus much on tummy time because I wore both of my kids so much. I did notice, however, that it took DD slightly longer to gain neck strength than DS and I think this is because she was so much bigger (90th percentile baby to DS's 35th percentile stats).
My almost 5 month old actually really likes tummy time but isn't rolling at all. We do it right when she wakes up and then at random times as the day goes on.
