Love the Biblical arguments...because I'm sure that's what the MEN who wrote the bible (despite the apparent belief it was faxed directly from heaven) were totes worried about: Target's organization of competitively priced toys and bedding sets.
I read these this morning; the responses were perfection! They were screen shots, but of course now I can't find the post to link Also, I'm amazed that people waste their time coming up with these ridiculous complaints to post on Target's FB page.
Clearly I'm on the side of all MMM, but what exactly is changing in target? They took don't the signs that distinguish gender in the toy sections.... But I'm assuming the aisle of pink and sparkles is still there, it's just no longer labeled "GIRL TOYS". Or are they rearranging the toy sections so barbies and Legos are now cohabitating on the same shelf?

Are clothes still separated? Still labeled?
I think they took down the girl /boy signs and the pink/blue background. But maybe they are comingled too

Clothes are still labeled because of the fit differences.
I'm now insanely curious if these people make sure their sons don't play with their daughters' toys and vice versa.

Supposedly they're comingling the toys a bit, like the pink legos will live next to the primary colored legos rather than in their own "girl" aisle.
The announcement was very specific that nothing in the clothing sections would change.
It's such a small change that it's mindblowing that it's actually controversial. Apparently people desperately need blue cardboard backgrounds behind the toys to ensure that buying them won't turn their sons gay (or worse yet, make them transgender).

I went yesterday to my target and everything looked the same to me. Girls and boys clothes are separated and toys were organized the same as usual.
The thing is that I never noticed the pink and blue signs in the you aisles before although of course the toys were grouped by traditional gender roles.
I believe that if target hadn't made the announcement no one would have even noticed the change.

Clothing is still separated, no changes there. It's literally just toys and bedding, and they stopped labeling it "girls" and "boys" on signs. It seems like they did already change the toy department in my closest Target - it's just a light beige background, no more pink or blue. Toys are grouped by type like they were before, but maybe not quite as glaringly girls vs boys stuff - dolls together, all building sets together, party favors together, there was kind of a gift idea aisle if I remember right.
The stupid thing is, I feel like most big box stores already do this - they were just quiet about it. Poor Target thought they'd get some kudos, and instead they have all these braindead redneck assholes flocking to their page, crying about "gender neutral" and having to buy jock straps next to bras, and WON'T SOMEBODY THINK OF THE CHILDREN?!?!?!
The good thing is that next time they have a clothes collaboration we will be able to get everything. No waiting in line since no one wants to go to target now.

The reactions are ridiculous.
Totally agree.
I feel like there's a conservative segment of the population that's still very butthurt over all the Caitlyn Jenner love and gay marriage legalization, and they feel like this is JUST ONE MORE THING to show that we're all going down because of the PC, liberal, Godless bastards. TRUMP 4EVER.
I remember reading a comment from a guy that was like, "I stopped shopping at Target when they stopped allowing guns. I'll go to WalMart where my guns and my gender are welcome."
