5 pm: Get home from work, load up everyone to go to inlaws for supper 7 pm: Just before we actually get food, realize poor DS is pretty sick 8-9:15 pm: Walk in clinic. Sinus infection. Get him home to bed, send DH for abx. 9:30 pm: Ice cream for supper
The people behind us have college age kids that like to throw raucous parties in their pool. I'm really ready for them to go back to school. It's midnight. Stop signing at the top of your lungs. I shouldn't have to turn up my tv to drown you out! It would be slightly less annoying if they would play each song in its entirety. They are all over the place with genres and normally switch songs after the chorus has been sung once or twice.
fuck. there is a really aggressive wildfire burning right now and it get teary every time i read a new report. it ripped through a campground and burned absolutely everything. people are here on vacation and their tents, trailers, vehicles, clothes, everything is gone. some people were fleeing on foot in their bikinis. initial reports are saying that a dozen homes have burned. one guy was driving away and his wife turned back to see black smoke billowing from the approximate location of their house.
and it is very likely human caused. some motherfucker was careless and started this whole mess.

Mil and GMIL are visiting. We have one bathroom. Apparently GMIL is practicing "mellow yellow". I can appreciate we are in a drought and all, but this is weird, right? (She is not from a drought state)
Also, they held ds all day long. Guess who is WIDE AWAKE at 10:15???

Do mellow yellow in your own house, but not when you have company over and certainly don't do it at other people's houses.
I have to go see the dietician tomorrow so naturally my blood sugar numbers were like double what they should have been after dinner. Oops.
I assume you have GD? I did twice. My dietitian focused on the average of the all the numbers, rather than one specific value. So if your numbers are good overall, one bad one isn't a big deal.
yes, thanks! This makes me feel better. My numbers have been fairly well controlled so this one totally threw me
