My H did it. He had some issues with Skype/sound issues that he has been complaining about a lot, but I think it went well other than that. His dad upgraded and had no issues with Skype, so I think it's probably a unique problem.
Yep we've done it and it's nice. We upgraded DH's and my laptops and once we get used to 10 we'll upgrade each of our desktops too. 10 isn't hard to figure out and much, much better than 8!!

My PC is a POS that never worked well from day one with Windows 8 or 8.1; the most appalling problem was that it couldn't maintain an internet connection with our wireless router and periodically dropped the connection even when physically plugged into the network (other devices on the network worked fine; I spent hours troubleshooting and nothing fixed the problem). I figured I had nothing to lose with the upgrade to Win10, so I tried it. My wireless internet connection now works flawlessly but my trackpad scrolling is now broken (and reinstalling the driver didn't help). So I guess that was an overall improvement?
I did it and had trouble with it. It shut itself down at one point and couldn't restart. I kept getting error messages and eventually had to delete basically all of my apps and reset it.

So far I like it better than windows 8 (start button!), but I haven't used it much except to make sure my programs and files were all intact. Dh has been using it awhile (upgraded from his much loved windows 7) and also seems happy with it.
DH upgraded his computer and likes it. I am letting him test it out for a bit first before I upgrade my laptop. I have heard good reviews of it so far.
I have 7 on my computer which is part of why I'm scared. No major complaints and I don't want to mess with a good thing, but I don't want to miss out either!

It's not that different from 7. If you can use 7 you can easily use 10 without much of a learning curve at all.
