I had a great weekend. Friday was pretty chill at home.
Saturday was really productive, killer yoga class, then I bought frames for my house, balloons and cupcakes for my friends birthday. That night was an awesome girls night, we ate so much and chatted. I think my friend really had a good birthday.
Sunday yoga again and a bike ride for brunch. We went to a new place and it was really good. Then I came home and had an epic fail. I painted that stencil on my wall. Didn't like it and painted it over. blerg.

I like the Tiguan as well, but I am glad you are passing.
I hated the Mazda, lol. Liked the BMW but don't like how much it is to own. The surprise of the day was the Toyota Venza. It wasn't on my list but they had one where we test drove the Mazda. P suggested I test drive it and I actually loved it. It is the Limited edition so it felt as posh as the BMW with half of the costs to own. I'm going back to drive it again tonight as well as a Subaru Forester. If I don't love the Forester, I think the Venza is the winner winner chicken dinner!

I'm sorry, doriswe. It's hard to be let down multiple times over.
This weekend was...interesting. I blew a fuse on Saturday early afternoon, all my power was out except ac and my fridge (thank GOD) and they didn't fix it until last night. Long story, but I'm very happy that I'll be leaving in two months.
The housewarming party on Friday night was awesome, though. We were there until 2 am and watched Mama Mia while drunk. Ah, music kids.
We did laundry and just hung out Saturday, then went to Church yesterday. DS#1 has a special bond with the infant son of our Pastor--they adore each other. DS#1 was drawing all the babies to him yesterday. We then dropped something off to my department chair's house, all three kids got sad that he wasn't home LOL. Then home, did some yardwork (DD mowed the lawn!), the kids played with the neighbor boys in the evening and built a fort. I asked WG if he wanted my extra ticket to the tennis tournament since wowhead is sick ( ;( ) but he can't go because he has plans.
I'm sorry. I keep trying to convince myself that I feel better but it's not working.

what happened with it?
I just didn't like the way they looked on the wall. the pattern looked strange to me.
It wasn't you at all. It does look like fish. I just didn't like how it looked on the wall. It just looked sloppy. which is not my style so I painted it all back a really really dark grey. I'll buy some awesome artwork and call it a day.

was the paint bleeding around the stencil?
It wasn't it just looked weird once it was all on the wall. the pattern it formed once you stood back just looked weird. I might try it doing a tone on tone doing a glossy grey over my eggshell.
I did mostly nothing all weekend and still don't feel completely recovered from Vegas.
I think things with A are ending. I realized towards the end of Vegas that I'd been barely in touch with him during the trip. I only realized when he made a crack about me "going off the grid". I apologized but I realized I really didn't care if we just stopped going out. Pretty telling....

Yeah if he didn't make blip on your radar while you were gone that is a big sign.
Does anyone else wonder, with all the gofundme pages floating around, if we're all just getting desensitized to it all? I mean there's a gofundme page for pretty much everything and everyone.
*Brought to you by two, back-to-back, links to gofundme pages on FB....one for money because she slipped and fell and another for a guy who wants to get a lawyer to get custody of his kids because "their mom is selfish."

Ugh. I swear it's bringing out the entitlement so many people must have hidden well before. I've started feeling that way about online petitions too, that many of them aren't as legit as they try to make them sound. It would be like me starting a petition to get the drugstore to give me back the membership number/rewards...not logical, not advisable, but something I could do if I felt like it.
