Copying from CEP- fall fashion must-haves?

I have GOT to get some new jeans.  All of mine are too big now.  Do I go skinny?  Boot cut?  Boyfriend?  What?

What will you be looking for?  (Not just jeans- anything.)

LOL everything. I just went through all my clothes, and I have to get rid of three garbage bags' worth of stuff that's now too big. I'm down to three or four pairs of pants, including jeans, that fit (and one is iffy, they're getting baggy in the ass/legs), a handful of tops, and only one skirt that doesn't fall down.

I mean, yay, but damn, this is getting expensive having to constantly buy new clothes every month. Even trips to thrift stores, when I'm having to do it every month or so, starts to add up when you're not made of money.

Just got some inexpensive dress pants, 2 pairs of ballet flats for work (grey and black), and 3 new bras for this quarter. Getting my first StitchFix today, though I don't know how many of these I can afford realistically; will probably request every other month.

My work wardrobe was really worn to pieces until my promotion/raise this summer, so I desperately need fall/winter tees, cardigans, sweaters. Would love wool-blend trousers for work. Could use some dressy boots, but it's tough because I don't like ankle height most of the time, and I'd need special width (17") to get knee-high/riding style; just too expensive right now. Could also use a new winter down jacket but will probably wait it out one more year with all the spending I've already done.

I need to focus on casual stuff, especially pants. Now that I'm working from home twice a week, I can stretch my work wardrobe a little further.

@booby tell me what kind of jeans to get!

I'm pretty sure flare jeans are coming back, just not the huge ones. I'm sticking with my skinnys though. I bought some fall colored tanks/camis and cardigans and want some new taupe colored boots.

Booties. I want a new pair for the Fall. I live in mine once it gets cold and this year I want a pair that's not black. Otherwise, skinny pants and some cotton sweaters to go with them. I've purged a lot and want to stick to a simple wardrobe this year. I'm always looking for long sleeved dresses, but I have the hardest time finding those.

OMG @lazerus24 I love those boots. Are you thinking over leggings? I haven't done short boots because I feel like my ass is too huge. But maybe since (hopefully) I'll have a bump to balance it out I can pull off short boots over leggings this year. I LOVE those.

I want to buy a really warm coat that also looks good. I have one that's ugly that I wear when it's cold enough that I don't care what I look like. But I hope that I can find one that's just as warm that I'm not embarrassed to be seen wearing. I doubt it, though. That coat is so freakin' warm!

I sized up. Rockstars are all over the place and I figured it wouldn't hurt. Plus, I hate when people wear ripped jeans and their skin squishes through the holes. 

ETA - The jeans aren't 40% off! But they were only $25 on their own sale.

I saw the striped tunics in the store yesterday, and told DH I was going to wait for a sale.

I just bought one in each color, plus a solid burgundy one.  40% was as good as I'm going to get, plus I"m pretty sure they were already cheaper than the first time I saw them online.  (I swear they were around $25, but they were priced at $16 or so today.)

Nope, early Saturday morning. So I'm going to test on my own before so I can have some heads' up. Then I'll drive down for my sister's shower if its positive.

Still probably wearing a lot of booties. And my distressed skinnies. And I've been loving the sneakers for casual wear trend. I've gotten a few New Balance from JCrew.

I'm losing weight right now so I don't want to spend a ton of $$ plus we are planning on TTC in October so I don't want to buy a bunch of cute stuff that at never fit again
