I plugged in my non adaptive fast charging tablet into my adaptive fast charging charger for my phone last night. I woke up to a burnt USB cord and port on the tablet. Samsung's website says it can be used with non adative fast charging devices, it just won't fast charge.
Every now and then I read stories like this (well, not just like this, but you know what I mean) and I tell myself I will NOT leave my phone or other device charging overnight. And then I forget about it two weeks later and start doing it again.
Is your tablet destroyed?
It's working right now, but I haven't tried to charge it again. I spoke with Sprint and they said I have to contact Samsung, but they have been having "issues with their chargers", he didn't specify what issues.
