Ooo yay DS bumped up a size so this will do nicely. I got him a shirt, convertible romper, and hat (and a top for me) for $20.
The state of Gap women's clothing is tragic. It was hard to find something for myself.
I said that when I was at the Gap recently, I love the kids clothes, but I can't find anything worth a nickel on the women's side. The manager told me kids is pretty much carrying the company.
I'm going to call it here: Gap will shutter its adult lines in the next year or two. They might (might) keep a small selection of jeans/khakis available online.
What are you people buying? Random extra small shorts? Nothing non-fug comes in my size. Why would I want a mesh sweater or a trapeeze skirt?
Baby stuff. Even the maternity stuff is so out there right now, and Gap Mat was a staple for me last time. I think I agree with bowies... That said, I got an awesome pair of navy skinny cropped pants at the Gap earlier this summer and I wore the crap out of them before the bump prevented me from buttoning them.
I bought some basic shirts for myself but mostly baby/kid stuff.
2 separate orders, 1 with 5 shirts/tanks for myself for 14.53 shipped and 1 with 2 pairs of shorts/pants for the new baby and 5 shirts for DS for $12.03 shipped.
I bought baby clothes, I saw not a single thing in womens that interested me
This is how you make money consignment/FB BST selling.
Buy Gap clothes for $2-4/piece, keep tags on, sell next year for twice the price.
The OXO Tot Bottle Brush with Stand makes it easy to be ready for every feeding. It has firm bristles for extra scrubbing and soft bristles for gentle cleaning, and the non-slip handle is easy to hold on to, even when its wet. A silicone nipple cleaner is tucked inside the handle for a more thorough cleaning of smaller areas, and the flexible neck reaches all the way inside bottles of various shapes and sizes, ensuring complete cleanliness. The included stand will keep your brush off the countertop, leaving it clean and dry. It also has a pour spout for trouble-free emptying and it comes apart for easy cleaning. This brush is dishwasher safe for regular sanitizing.
I buy a bunch of Gap kids stuff on final sale for $2-$4 and sell on ebay,Â
I got H two sweaters and me a shirt for $26. Thanks for posting! I didn't see much for the kids and had to dig through the women's to get me over the threshold for free shipping, but I found something non-fug.

I am not surprised at all. Their adult clothes are NMS and haven't changed much since the 90s.

I got several items for DS. $71.00 of clothes for $26. There were a few things I liked that were not available in any size but I still found a few shirts, shorts, jeans, and a hat.
would these shoes work with a black pinstripe suit for a wedding? DS is the ring bearer and the bride is very lax - get whatever you want, just make sure he's got a teal bow tie.

I got 3 shirts for next summer, 2 pairs of pants and a long sleeve button up for $12. All for ds of course. I wasn't able to use my $20 coupon so I guess I will have to place another order before the end of the month!
For me, the problem with Gap's adult clothes is that they can't decide if they want to be trendy or classic. they're not doing either well (like how Jcrew can pull off the classic but trendy styles and Banana Republic used to, but not so much anymore). They also cant decide who their core audience is. So stuff is cut in these funny patterns that are trying to be "edgy" but just end up looking kind of ridiculous and, dare I say, frumpy. Tops are too boxy. Shorts are too short. Dresses are just ridiculous.
The reason their adult clothes aren't doing well is because Gap can't decide who it wants to buy their adult clothes.
Old Navy does so much better in that regard, IMO.
Well, J Crew isn't doing a great job either. They're having well-publicized troubles. They're all trying to dress Jenna Lyons. The problem is, she is one person and can't keep multiple mass retailers afloat.
This whole androgynous/normcore thing can DIAF now and I'm glad these retailers are taking a financial beating over such stupid decisions.
