My order was cancelled. I called and asked why and they said something about it being a $0 order, so they put a cancellation on it. i told the woman I spoke with that the order was $19 so that didn't make any sense, but she said that's what information she has to go with.
I asked if they are doing anything for their customers to make up for this and she emailed me a 10% off coupon.

I just called, they cancelled my order stating that "unfortunately the Staples & Happy promo codes could not be combined & there was an issue & once our billing department caught it they had to go back and cancel the orders, I can re-submit your order using one of the promos of your choosing if you would like"
Two of my items got canceled, one by one. Can't say I'm surprised or mad. I only knew of the second code through here, and if it wasn't supposed to be widely used, I can see why Gap Inc. didn't want to basically give stuff away. It does stink because I was excited about my $5 maternity shorts.

I've definitely bought things in the $2-3 range before (last fall I think) when they do 50% off clearance (which this basically was).
The sale wasn't totally out of character and considering the limited stock and shittons of ugly stuff, I figured they were just clearing out precious season clothing.
If you kept your order as close as possible to $50, this "sale" amounted to more like 75%+ off. For example, the ankle boots were on sale for $52.99, they first took off 30% leaving $37.09, then deducted $25, leaving me paying only $12.09 plus tax for the boots. That's more than 75% off the sale price. If only they didn't cancel the order. I get why they are canceling, but I don't like it.
They canceled 1 item, shipped 2, and 1 is still pending.
The canceled item is a random pair of shorts, as is the pending item. Luckily, the 2 tiny sleepers that I bought for my twin niece and nephew shipped! Those are what I really wanted, the random shorts were just to get to $50 so it worked out.

Right which is close to 50% off clearance (which is usually close to 50% the original price) making this not an insane sale per their previous sales. That's what I said above.
Yeah, it's not at all uncommon to pick up things for $2-3 in store.
I'm ticked. My entire ordered was cancelled. I missed out on some sale items on the Boden site because I thought I was getting such a steal with the Gap items, and now Boden is sold out.
Just got six separate emails canceling the six items I ordered. This after I had received an email saying that my ordered had shipped. They were all t-shirts for me so no big loss except that they were un Tall sizes which are not available in store. Frustrating.
