I feel like I am always looking for good quality cardigans for work that aren't expensive. I have a ton of shells but I can't wear sleveless at work.
The one's that have lasted I've actually picked up at random places where what they carry isn't consistent (like TJMaxx). The ones I've gotten at target and GAP have fallen apart pretty quickly.
i grab them at the banana republic outlet when they are on sale. so far they've held up well. we'll see if that holds true since i'm wearing them a ton now.
side note: i hate how air conditioned my work is. sometimes i have to run outside for two minutes just to warm up.
The Target cardis I've gotten (the Merona) brand have held up really well. I wash on delicate and air dry. I like Talbot's cardis as well, but only when they are on uber sale.
Oh and surprisingly, Old Navy cardis have been a good buy for me as well.
My favorites are from the Gap Outlet store. I have been wearing them about once a week for 1.5 years and they are just now starting to look a little worn.
