Oh, and an actual random. I wanted to offer to reach the soda off the top shelf at the grocery store for this guy, but didn't want to offend him. He ended up climbing the bottom part to reach it.

We sold our rural house in a two stoplight town of around a thousand people less than 3 weeks ago after living there for a decade. We've been in the inspection and appraisal mode with some repairs. We got conventional buyers with a closing date of September 25th, but are cleared to close as soon as repairs happen. I've been driving 3 hours round trip to drop off paperwork while DH is working, I'm finishing this month's show, and testifying against a large corporation polluting our city this morning. Nothing is electronic in the realtor's office. I can't wait for the new owners to get this house since they stumbled in to the Open House. Our realtor thought they couldn't afford it by how they looked and their realtor refused to show it since it once belonged to our former owner. I buried a Saint and they showed up a week later. The realtor said that wouldn't work nor would it appraise. I guess my trip to CO may actually be on if I can grab air and hotel majick143 and hz80408. I also think I have a a spare ticket to Red Rocks since DH got call that weekend and it looks like coverage won't happen.
Also, we got approved to rescue a Great Dane puppy. He still needs to gain a little weight, but he has a great personality. He loves kids, all size dogs and plays well with them, horses, all sizes of humans, and cats. He's only 140 lbs at just under 2 years old. We need to find a time to meet and bring him home to be spoiled at Yappy hour and make some furry friends. My studio approval is in the works and I'm in early stages of seeking investors for a neighborhood business next my favorite hangouts. I really want to make that happen. The Dane is also welcome at my Gallery and I've started aerial circus school for workouts!
I also started having the major GI issues again. I guess I may be back to my Chicago Doctors since we tried here and they were stumped. DH's ER Doc found physical symptoms for a diagnosis which puts another major surgery with organ removal (that would make 7 total now) back on the table. It was ruled out before, but said if it showed symptoms that the surgery was likely with a 6-8 week recovery. Whew! That's a lot of randoms.

Liking for the doggie and home selling, not the tummy issues.

Thanks! That means a lot! We are so excited. We've made some incredible friends here and they're all so excited about the Dane. He's very social and our friends all want us to take him out and come hang out here with us and him.
