Because the dog was under the table. Because she was not allowed to have a sharpie marker to run around the house with. Because I sat on the couch to read her a book instead of the floor. Because she wanted a new diaper even though her diaper was dry/clean. After she cries for a minute or two, she comes back and announces "Audee cried. Feel better now."
Because I changed her diaper when she woke up Because I took her pj's off Because I put her clothes on Because the dog looked at her Because I put the tray on her high chair

Because she took her carseat strap off in the car while we were driving. I saw it in the mirror and told her to put it back on. Then she listened to me and tried to put it back on, she got her arm stuck in the strap. And it was a couple minutes before I could pull over and help her.
If anyone has any tricks for keeping kids from trying to unfasten their carseat straps while driving, I'm all ears.
Because I didn't buy her a Rainbow Dash costume at Costco. Also because she doesn't want to join a kids' dance company from her studio, but hopefully I can eventually change her mind on that.
Doesn't want to jump in the pool for swim lessons. Really has to pee (to avoid jumping pool at swim lessons). Wants to wear backpack while wet. Doesn't want to pee before nap. and on and on and on.

Because another morning passed where she didn't get a graham cracker after her breakfast. She asks EVERY SINGLE MORNING and the answer is always no. I thought maybe she would get it by now. I know she is young but she generally has a great understanding when we explain things to her. NO CRACKER!

We have the same child. Replace dog with cat and boom. That was my morning!

DS is 3.5 and asks for gummy bears for his morning snack EVERY DAY. The answer is always no. He has asked EVERY MORNING for at LEAST the last 3 months. What the hell kid, the answer is NO.
Because I wouldn't let her paint my face with applesauce. I also wouldn't let her paint her own face. Because I prevented her from diving headfirst off the bed. Because there was a sleepsack in the laundry pile I was folding and she thought it was time for a nap.
Oh he wanted to wear his shirt they gave him at swim lessons but it is way too big on him (3t and he is in 18-24mo). He freaked out when I said no so I decide to let him. And then he freaked out when I tried to put shorts on him so I left them off. It looked ridiculous but kind of like he was wearing a too big dress.
We went to 2 doctors appointments and breakfast like that.
Because he can't wear fuzzy pants every day. Because it's someone else's birthday. Because I brushed his teeth after he didn't brush his teeth. Because we took away dinner after he threw it on the floor. Because someone's in the kitchen making dinner and he can't watch.
Because he wanted the gate at the bottom of the stairs closed. Because he wanted to go upstairs. Because he wanted to go downstairs. Because I wouldn't let him climb into the washing machine. Because I took his shoes off. Because I gave a cracker to the nanny's child (he had one in his mouth and two in his hands already). Because I said he couldn't take the cracker from the nanny's child.

Because his top front teeth are coming in. Because he can't feed the dog. Because he can't feed the cat. Because I gave him milk in a sippy cup. Because I wouldn't let him unfold the laundry I folded.
He has cried all day so....pretty much everything.

I told DD that if she did this she could really get hurt and never see mommy and daddy again. And that it was really dangerous. She never did it again (she had done it twice prior). She also said "don't unsnap it, its dangerous" every time we got in the carseat for about 2 weeks. But it worked.
That's what I did with DD1, and she never did it again. DD2 doesn't care I'll keep trying though!
