Now that I have their cotton No 2 pencil skirts (got it during their mega sale), I'm really considering getting it in their double serge wool.
1. Is the full price ($130) worth it, or should I wait for it to go on sale? 2. What color do you have? (Looking at the retro jade color) 3. Is the sizing the same for the No 2 in cotton?

I prefer the wool ones. Less wrinkles. I would wait for a 20% off promo code. Sizing is similar to the cotton version. I have the wool version in ochre yellow and neon pink.
I love the wool one over the cotton. Mainly because the wool doesn't wrinkle so much. I think it's also more forgiving in the tummy area. Maybe it's all in my head. As much as I love them, I don't think I'd pay full price for them. I'm cheap like that and got a gray and pink on sale.

I have a wool one in black. I got it from the factory store (brick and mortar) last year so it wasn't too bad. Maybe they'll carry them again this year.

MAN, I have a 20% of promo code but I wonder if I should just wait until it's on sale + 30% off... like how I scored the cotton pencil skirts. UGH. I hate waiting though, and I really want 2 colors!

You know...I actually ran into a Factory Store on Sunday and they did have some. Maybe it's just me but the ones that they had on Sunday felt a little different than the wool one I got from the regular store and online which may be because it's factory merchandise. But it could all be in my head since it has been a while since I've worn my wool ones. I want to say they were $89?
The Warm Jade color is on sale right now for $98, plus you can use the code LOVEIT for an additional 30% off, which makes it $68.60.
I got one of the wool pencil skirts from the J Crew Factory store last weekend and I like it a lot. It was on sale for 40% off of $89, so it ended up being a little over $50. I thought that was a decent price for it.
Looks like the online factory has the wool skirt but it's 'wool blend'. Maybe that's why it felt different when I felt it in store. They have it on sale for $74.50 plus the 30% using the Loveit code as well.
