PIP: What tops can I wear with this skirt?

I have this J Crew No 2 pencil skirt (COTTON, not wool) in spicy gold for some time and haven't worn b/c I don't know what to wear with it. I know I could do a white top, but what other tops/sweaters can I wear with it (especially with the fall season coming around)?

I love my yellow skirt! I wear it with navy, pink, purple, I also wore it with a printed top the other day (the pattern had yellow in it)

I love my skirt in this color! Like pp, I were it with Navy, white, black (not too much black), printed tops w/ some yellow in them. I have one tank from the Limited that looks amazing with it, it's navy with white polka dots on it and I wear a white shrug with it.

Charcoal grey would be my top choice. I love grey and yellow. I'm not too adventrous with the color combos. I think a shirt that had a white base with an accent of some sort (stripe or detailing) with a teal would be pretty.

I like the suggestions from PPs, but I also wanted to add maroon!

Nacho beat me to it! I was going to add maroon. I adore grey + yellow and navy + yellow as well. I'd avoid black bc well, I'm a bengals fan and yellow + black is a forbidden color combo
