I had an ultrasound yesterday to check fluid levels. They are "perfect" and she confirmed what my midwife thought (that it was a small leak/tear & it sealed up).
I am still getting regular contractions several times a day but they aren't painful. 5cm, station 0, 90% effaced
I've got a midwife appointment at 3 so I'll update after that!
Hopefully this means the really bad stuff will go fast!
That's what I'm hoping. I'm halfway there and just uncomfortable so that's good!
Fx I don't have the baby in the car though.
Not that you want to hear this, but when my aunt had her second in the car on the way to the hospital, she made it on the front page of the local newspaper. She went on to have her next three at the hospital. So maybe you'll be famous? (I'm only kidding, trying to make you laugh). Baby Nama, do not be born in the car!
And I'm not as big as I was with DS1 but DS2 is so low that none of my pants or skirts fit
Hugs. I will also just commiserate. Spent the morning in L&D for more monitoring and had lots of contractions, but still just dilated to 4. Induction set for next Thursday if I make it that long.
Everything looked good & no further progress so we just keep waiting. I'm feeling really discouraged and DH doesn't get it at all.
Im sorry. I totally can understand how you feel. I was contracting steadily, usually between 6 and 10 times an hour, several minutes each time, for 4 weeks before I delivered. Granted, I didn't want to deliver before I did because they would have been premature. But just contracting constantly really, really wears on a person. Both mentally and physically.

Hopefully soon! (((hugs))) I've been there. It's so frustrating. I was 5 cm, 0 and 80% effaced for five days before my membranes started leaking with my youngest.

This gives me a little hope! I've been 5cm 90% station 0 since Tuesday morning...

I am seeing your signature for the first time. So your second baby was born earlier than your first but is now doing well? Amazing story but so sorry about sad beginning

Thanks. Yes, my second came at 26 weeks after we lost her sister at 31. She is doing amazingly well given the odds against her, but she did suffer severe brain damage and has cerebral palsy.

You've been through a lot, you amaze me. Can't wait to hear about baby number 3!
