BR boots Q- Too similar to what I own?

(sorry to be such a PW this morning)

I have a pair of Frye Jane 14L boots (in Redwood) that I love. However, I'm looking for a pair of riding boots that are more appropriate to wear with pencil skirts to work.

1. Will these BR boots be a better fit to what I'm looking for?
2. Are they too similar to my Frye boots?
3. I am 99% confident I will need to get the shaft widened (for my wide calves)- do you think these boots will last/good quality?

They're totally different to me and I like both, but I wouldn't wear either with a pencil skirt. I think pencil skirts look kind of funky unless the boot had a thinner heel (like a pump shape).

Other type skirts/dresses would be cute with either boot, IMO, but not a pencil skirt.

I think they are different enough to own both, but I agree with Kare that I would not wear either of those boots with a pencil skirt.
