Because there should be.
I try not to engage my father in political discussions because it's pointless. But sometimes I peek at his Facebook page. (I keep him hidden because all he does is share "Share if you love Jesus" and "Share if you think Obama is terrible" types of things.)
OMG. I have to admit it. My father is a trump supporter. He has posted multiple things supporting Trump (one of which instructs Obama to kill himself ). And today he shared something that promotes Trump for POTUS, Cruz for VP, and Fiorina for Secretary of State. (That last one might actually be the most offensive. I could see Fiorina as an economic advisor, but SOS? Based on what experience?)
My father is a Trump supporter. I just...wow. How does one process this?

Can I join? Because my mom thinks that Trump is just A-Okay on his position on China (ignoring that Trump's own line of clothing was manufactured there....lol) and thinks he is great.

My sister posts crap about how "Trump is Right - Send them back!" She used to be normal. Then she got together with her boyfriend, who is right wing and never ever wrong and she's slowly given in to his crazy.
I'm kind of LOL-ing at Cruz being Trump's VP. How horrified would Cruz be to have to answer to him/play second fiddle?
RIGHT?
Especially since the VP doesn't really have any official duties. Cruz does NOT want a job that takes him out of the spotlight. He'd rather stay in the Senate, I'm sure.
I'm still scratching my head over Fiorina as SOS. Why not Secretary of Commerce?

My apologies. This is also not my reality, that I know of (I really don't discuss politics with my folks. Dad's not on FB and my mom mainly sticks to angels and "pro-life" shit).
Even my nephew is like "Trump is a fuckhead who is destroying the GOP."

I will have to ask my mom on Saturday who she supports. It would not shock me if she supports Trump only because she really likes how his wife and daughter dress. But she also really liked Ivana Trump soooo...
My MIL is typically a very reasonable person, but she admitted that she's intrigued by Ben Carson and liked his comment about how we're all the same on the inside so color doesn't matter.
My gramma is really not doing well so I think I'll visit in a couple days. Between my grandparents and my dad and aunt I may be accosted about politics.
I can see my grandpa really liking trump. Fellow business men and crotchety old guys. My aunt hasn't lived in America for over 30 years, and my dad is just this conservative guy who hates government because of Vietnam.

*whispers* I think it's because she's a girl?
I have no data to back this up but women are seen as diplomatic and Albright, Rice and Clinton were kind of iconic.

Your resident young male would like to gain entry into this establishment.
Both my mom and dad are Trump supporters, while I'm a Bernie Sanders guy, so its safe to say that if the verbal sparring that I have had over this last month or so counted toward actual fighting skills, I could knock Rocky Balboa out at this point.
My dad is also a Trump supporter. Immigration issues being one of his main reasons. I don't know when my dad became like this or why, I don't remember him being this way when I was growing up. The Facebook posts are just...I don't even know what to say about them...
My MIL who is farther right than I am (yes, it's true, lol) actually hates him. I admit i was surprised.
Becase Trump is too centrist? I could actually imagine a lot of far-righters hating him for that reason (but have no facts or even anecdotes to back myself up).
