H brought home alcohol and I ate cake for dinner. I feel better. Of course, this doesn't actually address any of the underlying problems. But that's what tomorrow is for.
The heartburn is absolutely out of control in this pregnancy. Zantac is helping a little bit, but I dread having to lay down at night, and sleeping propped up with an extra pillow is no fun. However, I am so curious to see if the old wives' tale that heartburn = lots of hair is true (or not).

It was completely true for me with C. Tons of heartburn, giant red faux hawk on the kid.
My MIL gave C a cabbage patch doll today. I got home from work at minute before H and C got home, and C came running in to show me "my baby!" So adorable I can't even stand it.
Went to a HH after work for a coworker who is leaving. There is nothing more depressing than drinking a double water when everyone else is sampling delicious prosecco cocktails. And nobody even ordered food.
I think I know what I'm doing for DD's birthday party and I'm really excited about it. Her birthday isn't until January. Now I have to figure out when I can call and schedule it without it being considered too early.

I am in such an awful mood.
The last few weeks at work have been absolutely insane, I am cramping and spotting so I'm supposed to take it easy, but between work and chasing a toddler around that's practically impossible.
I hope date night tomorrow night puts me in a better mood. However, no sex, so maybe not. (wilted)

I had just a little bit toward the end of my pregnancy with DD and she had a decent amount of hair. We shall see for kid #2...

Tonight, my son told me that he is meeting spk926's daughter tomorrow at the fair. I think he's going to be disappointed to see that we are just going with Uncle Carl, lol.
I don't know if he really knows what the fair is but he has been talking about it all night. "Go to fair!" "See animals!" "shhh...animals are sleeping at the fair."

Mom is on the mend. Slowly. And the FDA approved a glucose monitor that sends updates to your phone. It's not cheap but not bank breaking either.
V was super adorable tonight. He tries to drink bathtub water and we redirect him by saying it's for duckies to drink. Whatever works! Also, successful tooth brushing thanks to listening to Thomas the Tank Engine on headphones.
Today in "niq reads between the lines I'm daycare notes":
Daycare: "L let go of the rope on our walk. We talked about safety!" I read: "your kid is almost 3, they need to get their s*** together".
For the first time ever, I guess, I'm home alone overnight! DH is away on a business trip and DS is at the ILs. I wanted to go to a game night at a friend's house and it was just easier for DS to sleepover there, and they insisted. However, there are storms rolling in and it's so weird to be all alone, I doubt I'll get much sleep tonight. What a waste!!
