Here is everything I got today for $100ish. I'm obsessed with the matching Tiger suits for C and P, ha. Haven't decided if I'll keep or sell the J&J sweater yet. The Vtech walker is a hit with both boys already!
The Little Brother Gymbo onesie, J&J sweater, Carter's Dino and shamrock sets were all NWT. The blue/red stripe sweater is RL and was $3!
I also got a Laugh and Learn house for my CW for $25.
nice scores Brie! That walker was a favorite of Gretchen's for a long long time. She would still play with it if we had it out!
Pics will be big, sorry
I spent about $60 for all of the above, best score was the $6 matilda jane shirt! Lots of Boden at this sale, I was very pleased. Had to volunteer 12 hours to get into the presale to score this stuff though, so maybe not worth it all those hours since I didn't get more.
and here are my scores from another sale last week. I didn't even look at clothes since I have so many. I focused on dress up clothes. Also got the parachute for $7 and not pictured is a set of Toy Story 1 and 2 dvds I paid $3 for! I spent $30 at this one and have made over $60 so far selling at this sale, so I came out ahead Donated a sheet of stamps to get in to that presale and no actual volunteer time. Much better deal for me!
No pictures, but today I scored DD a radio flyer wagon with the fold up seats, cup holders, etc for $35 in brand new condition. My only other big scores today were a brand new pair of snow bibs for $5 and a brand new pair of HA pjs for $4. Clothes were disappointing, I got some cute daycare play clothes though. Lots of missed stains. One outfit I picked up had bleach spilled all down one arm I'm hoping for better clothing scores at the big sale Wednesday.
I got this for $15 today, like new condition. Over $100 off! Score. It was a garage sale though. I also got an infant swing (that you attach to a tree) for $5.

Same sale, I presume? I should have given you my consignor guest pass, I totally forgot about it.
I found some stuff with holes and stains too. They checked my stuff really closely but they definitely missed some. Usually the older boy stuff is all beaten up, I was pleasantly surprised.

I' was at the RL sale. My sister in law consigned so she took me with her guest pass! It was nice to go at 1pm I was able to get a cart and everything. I saw your FB post about them being really meticulous about screening so I was hopeful. In girls clothing everything just seemed so old and worn out the clothing selection, at least for girls, is just never good compared to what it is at the sales out south it looks like you got some cute things though!
pugz I'm so jealous of your mini boden finds! I got a few pairs of HA pajamas for $5 each and the b. dr kit for $6 at OUAC. Today was the first day they had Halloween costumes out, so it was an absolute zoo (and I had the girls along) do I didn't have chance to dig.
Great job! I'm going to my first in October and hope I can get some good stuff.
Where is the one you're going to? I've never been to one and am curious after hearing everyone here talking about them.
I'm going to a Just Between Friends I found on their website in October. I am going to try to sell a few of our old clothes and then just scope out to see if anybody around here brings decent stuff. I'm hoping to find some NWT little sister and little brother newborn pajamas to bring to the hospital

I found a few things today and at another sale last weekend, but not a lot. I Have outfitted DS almost entirely from consigment sales up until now. I'm thinking it may not be worth it anymore - there just isn't that much in toddler boys and I seem to have better luck at consignment stores and the amazing online deals that MMM always posts. I love seeing the deals you ladies got, though!
Our town only has one semi-annual sale, it's the first week of October. I'm already making plans to go alone, wheee! DH will take DS and I'll drop DD off at my mom's house before I go. I get all of DS's winter gear there every year.
I used to go to them a lot but haven't had much luck lately. The ones around me have just been crap lately and so I've stopped going. It was always turning into a waste of my time and I would get like 1 item that was worth buying. Where I used to live they had private consignment sales (so not part of a bigger network) and I really liked those. I got great stuff! Now I just shop sales, garage sales, FB B/S/T sites and call it good. Jealous of those of you who have really nice ones around though!
glitzy07 and cincodemayo - not to discourage you, but I was very disappointed when I went to a JBF sale for the first time last fall. The merchandise was awful (stains, holes, etc.), the prices were high, and the wait to check-out was over an hour long (the line wrapped around the entire building). Hopefully your experience is better than mine was!

Yep, that's what I've found around here too. Faded, Walmart brand clothes for $10. Nope. I don't even go anymore which is too bad.
It just totally depends on the area you live in and who runs the sales. We have some great ones here but twice as many that are small and horrible. Or big and horrible! lol.
I went to a tiny church one that's usually pretty hit-or-miss, but this time it was perry great. For $60, I got a jumperoo and 4 pairs of pants for DS, 3 dresses, 3 pairs of tights, 2 pairs of jeggings, and 2 gymnastics leotards for DD. The nicest brand was gap, but that's pretty true of most of the sales around here, and the prices are good at this sale.

The one I do is private and ON is the lowest brand they accept. No target or Walmart. I always find some great deals esp on Gymboree that I can send to daycare.
There's a bigger one near me I tried once, terrible. I also hate ones where the times are all SAHM friendly. Pre-sale at 10am on Wednesday? Yeah no.
I'm jealous of your high quality ones. Ours is pretty good But pretty basic selection, no higher brands. And the older the kids get the harder it is to find nice stuff, it's all more exspensive than buying it on sale or crap.
