Same... glad we aren't #1 anymore, all the stupid red and black callings for 'tell us how you rep the number one party school' drunk stories killed it.
My college was such a nerd school, I can't believe we didn't make the list. Granted, I was part of the Greek system and there were some parties, but 75% of the school seemed to live in the computer labs. It was most definitely not a "fun" school, but I liked it.
I am surprised to see the CUNY schools on the sober list, though. My parents and many of their friends went to Brooklyn college, and they are lushes. I guess because its a total commuter school?
Im surprised about City College, but Brooklyn College and Queens College have a high percentage of Orthodox Jewish students now.
I graduated from party school #12. It's pretty small librel arts school in rural Indiana (about 3,000 students or so) so it always amuses me. People liked to party but it wasn't like the knock down-drag out parties I saw at big state schools.
Part of the rep is cause the campus is pretty greek (used to be in the 90% range, now it's closer to 70%). I think other parts of it is that since it's a small town-everyone stays/works/parties on campus and not head elsewhere (i.e. if you go to school in Chicago, you head off campus to party at regular Chicago bars/clubs and not stay on or right next to campus).
