Thank you! I want to buy a bunch of Christmas stuff but I'm not sure if my son will be in 6M or 9M at that point. How is Carter's on returns? Can I buy both sizes now and return one size in early December once I know what will fit? I'm not seeing a time frame for returns on their website.

I've returned tons of stuff (and rarely with a receipt), with no issues. I'm always just exchanging for other items/sizes, though, not trying to get any money back for stuff.

They are amazing! You can return for infinity if you have the receipt. Without the receipt, still infinity but you get back store credit for whatever it's selling for.

Thanks! Ran into the store this morning because I wasn't sure what size DS would be. I got 2 of the doorbuster long-sleeved Ts for DS and one for DD. DD found a cute pair of shiny pink canvas slip-ons on the clearance rack, and they happened to be her size ... and under $7!

As long as you have the receipt & tags you'll be fine. No limit on time.
Also, keep your receipts. If an item turns up defective they'll exchange even after worn. I had a hoodie zipper that broke after a few months of regular wear, they exchanged it no questions asked.
I have placed 4, FOUR orders at Carters in the last week. My money is gone
I did get great deals though!
I agree. I feel like I'm getting good deals, but buying it all at once is hard on my checkbook. I only have one kid to buy for & I've spent $300 in the last month.

I just got a puffy vest that I've been waiting for, 2 pair of sweatpants, a cute flannel, and a door buster long sleeve tee. DS should be more than set for fall now.
I went today and the deals were pretty good. There was an extra 40% off clearance too. They didn't have the Halloween costume I wanted in DD's size though
But I got two 3-piece sets, a 2-piece set, 2 pairs of PJs, and two one-pieces (I forget what those things are called, like rompers but long pants and long sleeves) for $51 so I'm happy.
Ashley&Scott and those with preschoolers. DS is 41" and 41lbs. He's outgrowing 5T shirts by length. What's the next size up? "Boys" size 4 or 5? There are some great doorbusters but I don't know which size to get.

So this is strange...but I bought some 5T again. I don't know what Carters did but they are super long, even compared to his 5T short sleeve summer shirts.

I mixed in some size 5 kids too.
hmmm interesting. His 5T Carters short sleeve summer shirts fit "just right" right now, so I imagine they'll be too small by winter. I think I'll do kids size 5. Thanks! Now hopefully I can get DH to agree to spend some money. There are several $5 doorbuster shirts I know DS will love (dinosaur, firetrucks, excavator), plus he lives in those striped thermal shirts all winter long. And for $5, that's as cheap as Circo Target that falls apart by the end of the season.

@supergreen I bought the thermals, firetruck & excavator too. I was excited that Osh Kosh had quite a few orange options since it's M's favorite color.
I couldn't help myself so I also bought so Osh Kosh pinstripe overalls for $10, M won't wear them as regular clothes but he loves to dress up as a train engineer with them
Ashley&Scott I am annoyed they don't have any pull-on jeans. Do they really expect 3 year olds to be able to unbutton their own jeans? I see the jersey-lined jeans, but DS says those are too hot. Hopefully I can find regular pull-on jeans at Target.

M doesn't like jeans so I didn't really look at the options.
I do know that these Carters canvas utility pants are not lined because I was specifically looking for ones with lining. With the coupon code (sunny25) they would be $9 each.
I'm guessing Target will have them. My local store is just starting to get their fall/winter clothes.
