I did W1D1 Sunday and am doing D2 tonight. I'm working on finding a good path, I live near lots of very steep hill and not a ton of streets, so makes it difficult.
I know it wasn't much, but felt good just to get out there.
I did W1D3 last night and it went great. I think easing back into it slowly will really help me. Thanks to all of you for the motivation to get started!

I need to get back to this. I did so well in June then totally slacked off when it got crazy hot. I have my iPod and running stuff here at my inlaws and unlimited babysitting so I should really take advantage.

I started yesterday!! I've done the program in the past, but it's my first time doing C25K with a stroller and it is hard pushing a BOB and 31 lb. DS. But, I felt great afterwards. Planning on W1D2 tomorrow.
I was going to do W1D3 this morning, but my cat* scratched the bottom of my foot in the middle of the night(wtf cat? I'm not even sure why she did that) and I can barely walk on it, let alone jog. I'm hoping it feels better in the morning. We've had a lot of rain that has extended week 1 to 2 weeks.
*I'm choosing to believe it was my cat, otherwise I do not want to know what is in my bedroom.
I did Week 4, day 2 today. I was a little overwhelmed when running today when I thought about how hard it was to run 90 seconds at a time when I started. Today I did two 3 minute runs and two 5 minute runs. I'm crazy slow, but I'm doing it! This morning sucked because it was 70° (yeah!!) but 99% humidity & not even a hint of a breeze. Drinking the air sucks!
This group is really helping keep me motivated. Thanks for posting check-ins! Keep it up, everyone!

I was planning to start yesterday, but didn't plan well and we don't have a jogging stroller so it didn't happen. Today it's a million degrees but I'm going to do it anyway.
I did w4d3 Sunday. My running intervals are getting so much faster. But I haven't done w4 without having to walk while pushing the stroller. So next time I go I will do d3 again and hopefully I can do the whole thing and move on to week 5. I really do not want to have to repeat week 4 again. I run on pavement with my City Mini GT and I am wondering if I should get a real running stroller. But if they are heavier it might not be worth it.
They might be heavier, but IME, they push so much easier that it makes up for the weight. I haven't actually run with mine yet, but when we go for walks, it's exponentially easier to walk with our "jogger" (converted trailer, so HUGE) than a regular stroller.
I'm so impressed by anyone doing any kind of jogging with any kind of stroller. Great job!

Curious is your screen name Ocean Street or Ocean State? I'm from the Ocean State!
Ocean State! Neither of us are from there, but H and I lived in Providence for a few years in the beginning of our relationship. When we got engaged we decided that RI was such an important part of "us" and decided to get married in Narragansett.
We recently moved from NC back to PA and can't wait to get up there for a weekend

Yesterday I did w6d1, and for some reason it was brutal. I hope that tomorrow goes better. It's not supposed to be quite as hot, so maybe that will help. Also, I just signed up for a 5k on Sept 26th. It's getting real!

I did w6d2 today and it went a lot better. I ran with a friend of mine on a 3 mile trail, which took a lot longer than the actual workout, but I survived! She's a lot faster than I am though ;-)

I am starting next week once DD goes back to school. I cannot run with both kids in the jogging stroller -- it kills my knees. So, DS and I are starting on Wednesday when she's in school. Ready to get started!
Can someone fill me in on this? Is there an app you use that tells you when to walk and run? If so, can it play music from pandora or songza?
I need to get back to exercising, and ainxe I'm running a 6 mile leg of a relay in 5 weeks, I really need to get my butt in gear!
Eta - I know what c25k is, as I reread this I realize it could be interpreted that I am asking what the program is. I know what it is, but is there a MMM group for it or something?

I did w2d2 this morning. Running outside and my app didn't screw me over this time. I also get about 4k steps out of it. I am at a park now with kids. I forgot my fit bit at home, so I don't intend on moving off this bench.

You can do it! I had a lot of trouble with 5 minutes at first, but once I got the hang of that, 8 was a breeze!
I can't believe I only have 5 more workouts left! My pace is still super slow, but never in my life have I ever run 25 minutes without stopping! 2 1/2 weeks until my first official 5k!

I've 6 more workouts to go and I signed up for a 5k on 27th Sept!
irish, I'm running an unofficial 5K on the 27th, too! (My siblings and a few family friends as a part of a day-long function.)
I did Week 4, day 3 today...and then walked an additional 2.5 miles tonight. I'm tired! But I had my fastest mile this morning! 13:43...LOL. It's much easier to run when it's not 98% humidity!
