Sounds better than our day. Mine basically got asked to not come back until he is fully potty trained and is more ready. He cried a ton, passed out asleep in the middle of the day for over an hour, and pooped (he isn't fully potty trained which I told them when I dropped off and it turns out they are NOT ok with). He has trouble with the pooping but isn't quite 3 yet.
Rough day, lots of tears for both of us and now I'm on the hunt for a daycare.
DD started MDO at 22 months. She napped like twice ever. Thankfully in the 3's class they stopped that nonsense. Sounds like a good first day!! School was so great for helping my DD's delays. Better than therapy.
Really? That is against regulations in my state. Still, if I were the teacher I would want the half hour of rest time!
What is?
I think she thought there was no nap at all?
There isn't a nap at mine, but it's only 8-1. My child obviously opted to ignore that and fall asleep in the middle of the room, exhausted from being so upset.
My DD had a hard time adjusting to napping at school as well. Give it a little bit and she will see what other kids are doing and want in on that. Glad she did so well!
