I'm going to Chicago at the end of the month for a conference. The conference is at McCormick Place and I'm trying to pick a hotel. None of the hotels with conference rates are particularly close to the conference, so I'm looking for some help in deciding where to stay. Conference hotel options are:
Fairmont Millennium Park
Hyatt Regency Chicago
Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers
The Gwen
Inn of Chicago Magnificent Mile
All are around the same price, except the Inn of Chicago which is about $50 cheaper. Recommendations between these? Or others that aren't on the list that you'd recommend?
Which Hyatt regency? There is one next to McCormick. Not the Sheraton, I hate that one. If it's nice weather, I stay at the Renaissance Blackstone because I can walk the 2 miles to the convention center. Bad weather, I stay at the JW (but probably too expensive if a tight budget). It's in the loop. If I have a lot of free time I might stay more central Michigan Avenue (either Marriott or Westin).
