I just ate ice cream bar 2 of the 3 in the box of Magnum double peanut butter bars I bought yesterday after seeing farmvillelover's post about peanut butter cupcakes.
There's a high chance that bar 3 will not make it to see tomorrow.
Also, our new nanny started today and I luuuurve her so. She watched DD PT when she was in preschool and I feel like the order of the universe has been restored. I'm such a sucker for continuity and rituals and things that feel warm and familiar.
H was home with the kids while I was at the dentist this morning. I walked in to a mega fort in the living room and a happy little boy.
I ordered myself a coloring book and colored pencils from Amazon and it got delivered earlier and so did a shirt I got from banana republic! Good mail day for me!

The most nerve-wracking part of this job interview process is over, as of yesterday. I slept well last night for the first time in two weeks not worrying and going over answers in my head.
H and I are "hire the experts" kind of folks. Today I had my AC repaired, fireplace fixed and tuned up, and my tub drain fixed. I'm a little poorer (but less than 500$ for all of it). So worth it. These things all make me happy.
DD and DH were playing yesterday evening while I made dinner and she reached over and patted his face and said "dada". It was so sweet. I think he may have teared up a little bit.
I fixed a copier/printer problem at work and saved us $1,500.00 in parts we didn't need.
We have lots of fun social plans for the long weekend. After an entire summer of house stuff, it's so nice to settle back into a busy social life.
I got a new Nissan Rogue this weekend! It's the first new vehicle I've ever bought. I'm having fun driving it around and using all the new features my Subaru didn't have.
ETA: Who are the other Rogue owners on this board? @callmefia AmyRI Do either of you have the Divide and Hide storage system in the back? I'm trying to figure out if I'll use it that much or if I should just get a cargo tray and cover that up.

Fun!
I drive a 2013 Rogue, so it didn't have that feature available. It has one hidden storage compartment under the trunk mat near the spare tire that I use for car emergency supplies. I bought this (http://www.target.com/p/rubbermaid-hard-sided-cargo-bin/-/A-14461028#prodSlot=medium_1_1) small crate thing with rubber feet so it doesn't slide around the trunk that holds emergency diaper supplies, my reusable bags, and whatever handful of items I'm avoiding returning any given week. That's the extent of the organization I've needed, FWIW.
The back window is so small and I have tinted rear windows, so you can't see in well enough that I've felt compelled to have a cover. I expected to miss it (I used one when I drove a Versa before my Rogue) but I haven't.
The girls are obsessed with their baby dolls. K has to carry one around with her pretty much all the time. Sometimes she just walks around carrying as many dolls as she can hold. J is also getting in on it sometimes and its reviving the short lived doll phase he had about a year ago.
My sister and I loved dolls growing up and I'm super excited to have an excuse to buy and play with dolls. Plus, honestly, watching them love their babies is actually better than playing with them myself as a kid.
