Every time i think that *I* am a paranoid parent, someone posts a photo like the OP, or asks about the ER for a "fever" of 99 and I'm like "nope, I'm not as anxious as i thought!!"

Uh...glad I could help, I guess? lol
I'm sorry!! I shouldn't make fun of you. I'm a horribly anxious/paranoid parent and normally my IRL friends are making fun of ME for asking about urgent care.
But honestly, that's barely a cut! Unless it looks worse IRL?

It looked like a puncture wound when she first did it, so that's why I wad originally concerned.
But I also admit I'm super anxious about stuff concerning her. I can stay calm as a cucumber while taking care of other people/their kids. When it's my own, the sky is falling.
I think you did the right thing. It does look like a chunk and it looks like you got it to stop bleeding.
How'd she do it?
She was climbing onto her rocking horse, lost her balance, and fell onto the dish rack thing from her kitchen. Which shouldn't have been on the floor anyway, but she likes to carry it around.

I have our GP's number programmed into my phone. I am ALWAYS calling to ask the nurse something.
I am paranoid about strep throat so i take the kids in at a HINT of a sore throat with a fever. I totally go overboard on that one.
