I love leather clothes. I don't love the cost of leather clothes. so I'm buying a bunch of fake leather pieces for this fall (I've got pants, shorts and a pencil skirt so far). however, when searching for these, I run into descriptions like this one: www.shopbop.com/vegan-leather-short-free-people/vp/v=1/845524441946070.htm?folderID=2534374302090711&colorId=12867&extid=affprg-4441350 and it just makes me giggle. you know some people are going to pay for it like "oh it's vegan leather! cruelty free! yea I'll pay $100 for this!" when it's really just PU and you can get the exact same pair of shorts at Forever 21 for $19.98 (I know this for a fact since I just got some on Sunday).
anyway, it just made me giggle. carry on with your day.
I'll cop to buying more expensive ($88) vegan leather pants from Shopbop. I totally agree about the materials used, but the cut on the ones I bought was much more flattering on me than the other options I tried.
