I have read Cruise Critic and DisBoards here and there, but I read and posted on Flyertalk for years until my doctor said to not fly anymore after the first tri. I've also been on some professional boards for a long time.
ETA - I forgot. There was some diamond forum I combed through for a while when I was ring shopping. Then I was infrequently at the old place before here but once I got married I stopped reading both of those.
I started visiting a certain 90s musical artist forum when I was like 15. It still sort of exists almost 18 years later, with some of the same posters. It ceased being mainly about the musical artist a long time ago, mostly.
I started in Microsoft Comic Chat when I was pretty young. Then it was boards for pig raising ahaha, (I was in FFA in high school). After that it was pretty much just TK, TN then here. I started on TK when H and I first talked about getting married and my sister was actually planning her wedding.
I have ventured to Cruise Critic since we booked our first one and Disboards when we thought of Disney Cruise.
I used to post on some of the MSN money boards - YM and WIR. Also TK/TN. I still post on a local board that migrated from TK to TN to PB. Sometimes trip advisor but really only when I'm planning something specific.
I read the train wreck that is mrr money mustache pretty frequently. I am active on clicking mom's. I also read one scrapbook in site and used to read two peas when it was around. And participated on split coast stampers.
I go back to cruise critic every time I plan a new cruise--i found some great tour guides for our Scandinavian and Alaskan cruises through that forum.
I spent a while posting on the purse forum.
I also do Disboards, but I post infrequently there, but I stalked the DVC section when I was buying our resale, checking on how long others purchases were taking.
@starry I was on that babysitters club fan group on prodigy too! I won a contest writing a story about why Claudia skipped school, and they sent me a bunch of books and videotapes and pjs.
In college I was in a figure skating newsgroup. Post college I was in a Moxy Fruvous newsgroup #honorarycanadian
But the big one was the many, many hours I spent in Rent forums. So, so many hours. I was ridiculously obsessed. I still get excited when I see a Rent cast member doing something. Hence my undying love for Idina Menzel. Jesse L Martin, where are you now??
I posted on Television Without Pity fairly regularly when I had this mind-numbing job I could literally get done in an hour. This was about 15 years ago. The American Idol threads were intense.
