32, married, no kids, and by your definition, only a few times a year, usually while on vacation.
We go to dinner plenty, just the two of us and with others, but we are usually eating around 7, home by 9 or 10. Now, when we each travel for work, the story changes some. We are much more likely to hit up a bar with coworkers on business trips.
I used to go out much more before DH and I started dating, but anymore, I would rather just stay home and have a drink and watch a movie.

I know from other threads (and from thread content in general) that I am close to if not the oldest MMer (56) and I can say with confidence I NEVER go out "for drinks" since I don't drink. And when I go out, I never START my evening at 8-9; in fact, I'm often home from my evening out by then! I go out to dinner probably 2-3 times a week, either as a social thing with girlfriends or with the kids because I don't feel like cooking. And if there's music involved, it's far more likely to be a pianist or harpist in the background than Bruce Springsteen. Also, I did just have to pass on two box seats to a Springsteen concert last weekend because they were donated to the organization I volunteer for; while they were offered to me, I wasn't 100% sure I could have gone and the person who donated them would have known that the seats weren't used, so I passed on them.

This is us exactly, except we're 39/45. I'm happy being in bed by 9 -10pm each night. I like my sleep!

Pretty much never. There is no where in our town that we'd be willing to spend money on drinks, and there are no places that have a live band (anymore). We were going to a bar on the weekends for a few months, but they shut down, and the other bar in our town is a shithole, and the other resturant we don't go to bc we don't care for the owner.

Maybe a couple times a year? No kids, and I'm 26 going on 80 apparently.
The last time I went out with a bunch of girlfriends all I could think was, "I could be home in my comfy bed, quietly reading a book and cuddling with my H." It sounded so much more appealing than drinking in a noisy bar and being hit on by strange men. Then I started wondering when I got old... sigh.
We are both 26. Per your definition we probably go out once per week. This week we are going out 4 times, and I don't want to.
Our non-married friends (some are in serious relationships) go out much more, and our married friends prefer just going out for dinner (which is what I prefer). I feel much older than my non-married friends... but I'm not.
Going out--as in to a club/bar/restaurant where you stay 2+ hrs and have a cocktail and/or watch a band. Usually after 8-9 pm at night. ETA: do you have kids?
Even this makes me sound old I think.
We do this maybe once every other year. We're 33 and have no kids.
I hate going "out". BF and I go out to dinner and the movies, stuff like that (never for just drinks), but we both hate bars and clubs. We're lame for being 28/29 with no kids.
Not very often. We do go out to dinner with friends, but it's generally earlier in the evening, by 9 p.m. we're generally at someone's house or someone is at our house or we're at some kind of outdoor concert venue or something. Ever since I legally turned 21 bars and clubs lost their appeal. lol

4 times a year maybe
We are 39/45, Empty nesters.
We go out on our own a lot to restaurants. We rarely do bands or bars since it is not our thing. We host at our own home a lot or visit friends that host.

Before I was pregnant, maybe once every 1-2 weeks and then had friends over 1x week. We have one kid, but now we have another on the way and we've only gotten a babysitter once since I found out I was pg (I'm 9 weeks).
