Ashley&Scott, thank you! I like the second and 3rd options! I'm going to look at those some more. I think k I'll end up ordering a few things and then seeing how it all looks in person.
Happy to help!
If you end up putting both girls in the adorable blue HA dresses I would put your DH is a turquoise/teal & DS in either navy or cream.

I was thinking that. My H does have a teal sweater and I think he wpuld prefer that one over the oatmeal colored one.

I like 3 and 5 a lot!!
@awinter - I also really like your op and would not roll my eyes at your girls matching. I think the different tights is a good choice, and you could further mix it up with different bows.
Eta - I definitely wouldn't change ds' sweater. I loooooove it.
I love #5! I'm trying to figure out outfits for fall pictures as well and I'm considering that navy HA dress as well. Do you have any pictures of what it looks like on someone though? I'm trying to understand if the sleeves just look long or if it's a shorter dress. And more importantly how will it look on my rolly polly DD.
I try to steer away from having my girls match but sometimes shopping sales I end up with two of the same thing, in that case I use different shoes/socks/tights/headbands so they aren't EXACTLY alike. I honestly think twin parents think about this more than singletons as evidenced by all the identical things my identical twins are given.
Also I really like the dress you picked, in struggling to find fall outfits for pictures now too.

The description says it's tunic length sp I think it's a shorter dress.
Ashley&Scott, I'm concerned about the reddish tights and pinkish/red tones in the dress clashing with my sweater. Have you seen these in person by chance?
I'm struggling because I really do like the combinations in 5 but all 3 kids are fair skinned with blonde hair and really pretty bright blue eyes. I'd like to enhance their eyes hence the search for brighter colors I know do this like teal, navy blue, or purple as opposed to using cream and grey.

I haven't seen any of it in person.
Are you set on that plum color for you? It's gorgeous but if you're open to other colors it might give you more options.
Target's website was down today which was frustrating. And I feel like many stores are in the process of rolling out fall lines. I can believe how hard it was to find rich fall colors. I'll keep looking but it will be tomorrow before I am at a real computer again.

No worries! I want the plum color for me because its my favorite and the last two years I've wanted to wear that color and haven't been successful in finding anything. So I'm being selfish and making everyone else match me
I did go ahead and order 2 of the HA dresses for now. That way I have them in case I don't find anything else.

I think you are right, twin parents think about it much more. I'm just always afraid of giving my identical twins a complex about their sameness. But I'd rather have them wear the same dress with different tights and hair bows than have one wear a dress I didnt really love.

I understand. That color is gorgeous, I say wear it!
I also think your DS could wear a dark hunter green color (I think Carters had a sweater) & YH could wear navy. They would all go with your plum sweater keep all three kids from being in the same color. I'll show you what I mean tomorrow.
And I understand about fair skin & light colors, we have the same issue too. Let me keep thinking/searching.

You are reading my mind lol. J has a teal colored sweater I bought at end of season last year. I'm thinking of having him wear that and my H wear navy. It will just depend on whether the sweater is too big for J or not!

@awinter Do you like any of these? I had previously only looked in the baby section at Old Navy, but today I realized that the toddler section starts at 12m.
Ashley&Scott, I did see those. I liked the purple one and the teal colored ones but with the short sleeves I'd need a cardigan or something and I wasnt sure about micing the materials. And then I got tired of looking lol.

I LOVE the plum colored patterned one with a cream shirt layered underneath. I think it looks awesome with everything else but especially with your sweater. I know you wanted to avoid adding another pattern but I do think they look great together.
The teal one appears to be elbow length so you might be able to get away with no cardigan.
