How's everyone doing?
Last week was my first week back counting calories/logging in MFP and I had a great (if not hard) week. And I lost 4 pounds! I was hoping for a big loss to jumpstart things but that was even more than I thought. My goal now is 1 lb/week, just want slow and steady loss. I'm doing pretty well with my eating but struggling to get to the gym - opposite as before! Eventually I'll get both things going at the same time. I really, really cannot wait for cooler weather so I can do more walking, I hate going out right now. I am always a sticky mess when I get home so I do my errands and that's it.
Unfortunately, I'm still too sick to get back into my cardio routine. I'm really sad that I'm losing all of the progress that I made, but I've lost 5+ pounds in the last few weeks so my focus right now needs to be on getting back to stable.
I've been doing slightly better with eating, which is my focus right now. I'll add in exercise once I get into a healthy eating routine. I meal planned and prepped this weekend to be ready for the week. I've been bringing oatmeal to school with me for breakfast to avoid the starbucks drive through. I haven't weighed myself since my last doctors appointment in June. I'm going to avoid the scale for a few more weeks.
I've been doing well with exercise, and the eating hasn't been too bad.
I need to cut down on my carbs, I think that's one of my main problems with food right now. (As I'm eating a bagel with cream cheese. )
We have been meal planning every week for at least the last month which is good. Adding in a lot of extra veggies and stuff into dishes, and I'm trying to work on my portion control.
I've been doing horrible. I just made a workout calendar to plan my workouts and I need to really start logging my food completely, not just on work days.
I'm doing...ok I guess? I only lost .8 pounds in August. Not surprising, because my eating was pretty bad, so I'm actually just pleased that I didn't end up with a gain. Ive done much better in September though (of course, as I type this, I'm waiting for a pizza to be delivered, lol- my reward for getting through my first week of school)
I'm doing a 5k on Sept 20th. I know I won't be able to run the whole thing, which I'm ok with, I just want to beat my last 5k time (45 minutes, so I'm very hopeful). I am so slow, lol, but I'm ok with that. Baby steps!I'm slowly working my way through C25K (on W4D2). I won't finish it before my actual 5k, but I want to find another one to actually run once I do finish.
Down 27.5 pounds overall. I'd like to lose another 65, though realistically, I'd happily settle for 40.

I gave myself the week off last week while I was at the beach. There were lots of chips, bowls of ice cream, etc. My goal for this week is to make healthy choices and workout at least three times.
