MY DH IS FINALLY GOING IN FOR A SLEEP APNEA CONSULT!! (I'm playing the part of an overbearing wife and going with him...he will downplay the fact that he's sleeping 11+ hours and is still exhausted...and I have a video of his breathing at night that is terrifying) HIS DOCTOR SUGGESTED IT OVER THREE YEARS AGO!!!!
I went through this with my H. It finally took his boss catching him dozing off at work to start wearing the damn cpap. It too have videotaped him "choke snoring". It was unbelievable. Good luck. Getting to wear that contraption isn't easy, but it's totally worth it.
I HATE MY SCOLIOSIS, I guess I shouldn't say my. I hate it in general for everyone
Ughhhh, I hate it too! Sometimes I wish my parents had just had me get surgery when I was a kid. MH and people around me have no idea, but I'm in pain from scoliosis basically every day.
Back pain is so all encompassing. Hope you get relief!
My DH is typically 15-30 minutes late for everything - so I told him the appointment was at 2:00 instead of 2:15. He was there at 1:45. I was FLOORED. The consult was amazing. The doctor was equal parts sensitive and convincing - he was blunt that not only was he nearly certain that DH has sleep apnea but that sleep apnea was a short cut to the grave. He was convincing enough that DH actually spoke to him about what the mask options were. I can't even describe my relief. My FIL died at 62 from a massive heart attack due to unattended health issues including sleep apnea. My DH is 45 - he would see his son graduate high school and not much past that. That's a sobering thought.
Definitely have him try different mask options. My H has to wear the chip strap, and sometimes even though doesn't keep him mouth closed properly if he's flat on his back. But keep trying!

WHY WAS THE 6TH GRADE GIRLS BASKETBALL TEAM LEFT OUT OF THE YEARBOOK, BUT THE 7TH AND 8TH GRADE GIRLS AND 6TH, 7TH, AND 8TH GRADE BOYS TEAMS WERE IN THERE?? DD IS SO DISAPPOINTED.
I recently found this summer's UNReal tv show and I love it! There were only 10 episodes, so I was trying to space them out instead of binge watching them.
Well, I went to fire up episode 6 yesterday, and they're no longer on demand, or prime, or even the MFing Lifetime website.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I need to know what happens. Dammit Lifetime!
DH RETURNED FROM A WORK TRIP AND HURT MY FEELINGS WITH A COMMENT. WHEN I TOLD HIM LATER THAT HIS CHOICE OF WORDS HURT MY FEELINGS I GOT A HALF HEARTED SORRY. I ALSO VACUUMED WHILE HE WAS OUT AND HE SAID HE DID NOT NOTICE BECAUSE HE EXPECTS NOT TO SEE A BUNCH OF STUFF ON THE FLOOR. (WTF I WOULD NEVER SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT ABOUT THE HEIGHT OF OUR GRASS.)
MY TEAM AT WORK APPARENTLY IS NOW FIRST COME FIRST SERVE ON VACATION REQUESTS. I WANT TO SCREAM AT THEM THAT OUR TEAM IS NOT CRITICAL AND IT WOULD NOT BE THE END IF THE WORLD IF WE ALL TOOK OFF THANKSGIVING AND SKIPPED A WEEK OF OUR WEEKLY REPORT GENERATION.
